No real fluff to back it up just something i think would work, no idea what the local gaming atmosphere is anymore.

Plenty of troops for objectives, lots of anti tank and lots of armor to get around the field. no foot slogging. It's been a long time since i played what do you guys think.
I'm going to keep your basic idea, but tweak it a bit here for you:
HQ 1: Daemon Prince - 155 each
Warptime (much better than Winds)
Elites: Terminators x5 - 405
1x Heavy Flamer
Troops 1-2: Chaos Space Marines x10 - 255
Icon of Chaos Glory
Troops 3: Khorne Berzerkers x8 - 208
Champ w/ powerfist
Heavy 1: Land Raider - 220 (for Berzerkers)
Heavy 2-3: Predator - 130
This gives you a ton of points to add more stuff such as another Daemon Prince with the same build, replacing the Predators with either Defilers or Obliterators, possibly another troops choice. The problem with your list before was you were wasting too many points with things like Havoc Launchers, Plasma Pistols and extra Lascannons on the Predators.
World Eaters: W-47 D-10 L-9

First of all, this list is not really undivided, since the berzerkers are dedicated to khorne.
I think that the land raider is useless in this occasion, since you don't have kharn, abaddon or something expensive to carry. I don't think it's worth spending 220 points to carry 8 berzerkers. You can simply take a rhino.
With the spare points I would take a defiler and an extra TL lascannon to the one of your predators.
not doing it for the expense of carrying troops. its leads for the other person to prioritize targets, with 2 rhinos that can shoot after they unload, 2 predators and 2 land raiders means that you have to completely blow up the tank for it to stop causing damage. a simple immobilized rhino will still be able to shoot S5 AP5 templates.
i liked Winds becuase of the versatility but being as i have not played in a long time its something i can playtest and change accordingly.
I know the Heavy's in the squads cost points but does it not add to the vesatility when objective camping or last stand type scenarios?
I havent played since Second Ed so i do have to get back into the swing of things.
