Hello there. I'm used to using big full sized units and just walk them across the battlefield and hope they survived, but I wanted to try something different and done the opposite and made a msu army. Anyway here's the list.

HQ
Daemon Prince with wings, mark or slaanesh and lash of submission 155pts

Daemon Prince with wings, mark or slaanesh and lash of submission 155pts

Elites
6 Chosen with a champ with powerfist, icon of tzeentch and 5 melta guns 218pts

3 Terminators with 3 combi-meltas, icon of tzeentch, a powerfist and a chainfist 165pts

Troops
5 Chaos space marines with a champion with a powerfist, icon of khorne and a plasma gun 160pts

5 Plague marines with a champion with a powerfist and 2 plasma guns 185pts

8 Khorne bezerkers with a chapion with a power weapon 198pts

Rhino xxpts

8 Khorne bezerkers with a chapion with a power weapon 198pts

Rhino xxpts

Heavy Support

2 Obliterators 150pts

2 Obliterators 150pts

5 Havocks with a champion with a powerfist, icon of slaanesh and 4 flamers 155pts

Rhino xxpts

Total 1999pts

The basic plan is for the daemon princes to pull enemies off objectives and towards the bezerkers and havocks. The plague bearers and chaos space marines will hold home objectives and if playing kill points just hide. Hopefully the enemy will be to busy trying to get rid of the daemon princes and bezerkers to stop the chosen and obliterators taking out their tanks/monstorous creatures. If i choose to deepstrike the obliterators hopefully the havocks will be close enough to cover so that the obliterators can take out enemy units without taking damage back. Comments welcomed :).

Quick note: Your chosen squad is illegal. Their entry doesn't actually provide the champ with his own separate list of upgrades, so he has to pick from among the upgrades available to his squad. In other words, you can't have a fist and five meltas.

Overall, your list will probably struggle. You've invested heavily in icons for very small squads. This means that you're paying a high price per model for the benefits of the icon. Generally speaking, you want larger squads, so the advantages conferred by the icons reach a higher number of marines.

Icons on small units is a waste of points. Drop them all so that you have points for other stuff. Powerfists on small units are also a wast of points because you do not have enough ablative wounds for your powerfist to hide long enough do deal lots of damage.

To keep on theme and with as many models as possible from your original list I would run this

2 X Demon Prince, lash of submission, wings

2 X 5 chosen, 2 meltaguns, 2 flamers in a rhino
4 Terminators, 1 chainfist, 3 combi-meltas

2 X 8 khorne berzerkers, champ upgrade with powerfist in a rhino
5 Plague marines with 2 plasmaguns in a rhino
5 CSM with 1 meltagun in a rhino

2 X 2 Obliterators
5 Havocs with 2 meltaguns, 2 flamers in a rhino
