this army is illegal to use,
havoks don't become elites when you give them a mark. so you have 6 heavy units, doesn't work like that.
-you use you lord for summoning and he is on foot moving 6"???
-why not a bolt of change on the lord?
-where is your cc units?
how so? taken from the codex "If a unit which normally occupies a troop, fast attack or heavy support choice on the force organisation chart is given a mark of chaos other than chaos undivided then it will become an elite choice instead. If the mark they bear is the same as the army's commander they will continue to occupy the same force chart choice they did before." Now i have tzeentch leader with slannesh marking which im aloud to take and the mark chart lets me put a mark of slannesh on havocs.
so please explain "why it doesnt work like that."
This is also against the army list rules - you haven't put what army this is in the title, simply "over-shooty". I don't see why you'd want to bother giving your havocs mark of slaanesh either, unless you were going to give them blastmasters, which are better than missile launchers.
Also, if someone annihilates your havoc squads and lord with all of the 2000 points worth of gunfire, which is highly possible, that's 60 wounds that can't come in. Then the enemy army is just easily able to rip open your defilers at leisure.
IMO, two troops choices is far too few for 2,000 points - get some regular CSM, they're excellent. Also, your lieutenant is going to be torn to pieces in 2,000 points. You're gonna come up against people with 200 point daemon princes, who will systematically eat your lord and havocs. Daemonic fire is pointless too. If you want him to have a shooting weapon, give him a Kai gun.
Basically, i can see holes in this army list that you could drive a land raider through. The three ordnance weapons really aren't that scary, when you have swarms of troops in 2,000 that you can allow to die. Also, if someone else has three havoc squads, or a few ordnance weapons, while you're picking out his troops that are already on the battlefield, they're shooting holes in your havoc squads and lord and stopping you summoning.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."
Well, the list *is* legal, and you are correct in that your Havocs would be in the Elite slot. That being said, it's not the best thing for them, but whatever works for you.
While I do appreciate people who keep their HQ units cheap, this one will get blasted or chewed up on turn 2 on a regular basis. That leaves you with just the three Havoc squads to bring in your demons, which won't be enough.
12 Missile launchers is alot... but not enough to carry the army. 30 Flamers is alot... but again, not enough to carry the army. Three defilers is suicide.
I assume you're open to change, since you did post your army. First, split the flamers into two groups of seven, and two groups of eight. More rolls for summoning = better chance of getting atleast something on turn two. Next, drop some defilers. They'll be point sinks. Either get some Dreads, or some Predators, or (best suggestion) use the points to buy ATLEAST two groups of Marines.
This army won't last long. Focusing too much on shooty is a bad way to go. Give them some assault squads.
