    [1500] Death Guard - friendly

I´m just strating up a CSM army, and i was tempted by papa Nugle. Any hints/ideas/critisisms is welcome.

    HQ:

    Chaos Lord 136 Pts
    Daemonic Resilience
    Infiltrate
    Mark of Nurgle
    Bolt Pistol
    Plague Sword
    Daemonic Mutation
    Daemonic Strength

    5 Chosen Retinue 180 Pts
    Daemonic Resilience
    Infiltrate
    Mark of Nurgle
    CCW+Bolter (x5)

    Aspiring Champion
    Daemonic Resilience
    Infiltrate
    Mark of Nurgle
    Bolter
    Plague Sword
    Daemonic Mutation
    Daemonic Strength

    Troops

5 units of Plague Marines like the one below

    6 x plague Marines 194 Pts
    Daemonic Resilience
    Infiltrate
    Mark of Nurgle
    CCW, 4 x Bolter, 2 X MG

    Aspiring Champion
    Daemonic Resilience
    Infiltrate
    Mark of Nurgle
    Nurgle's Rot
    PF + Bolter

    Heavy Support

    Havocs

    6 Plague Marines 214 Pts
    Daemonic Resilience
    Mark of Nurgle
    Infiltrate
    4 x PG, 2 x Bolter

    Aspiring Champion
    Daemonic Resilience
    Mark of Nurgle
    Infiltrate

for a total of 1500 Pts

I was thinking of swapping a unit of Plague Marines for a kitted Dread to mix it up

    Chaos Dreadnought 185 Pts
    CCW w/TL Bolters
    Plasma Cannon
    Parasitic Possession
    Daemonic Possession
    Mutated Hull

Any Ideas? I like the idea of 7 x 7 squads, and a lot of rot ^_^

I was thinkig of using the havocs against tanks or termies (not very surprising) and swamp anything else with bolter slugs while my lord and retinue takes down any cc-specialists or characters, but any tactical advice is more than welcome

Ordinary marines can´t have daemonic gifts...

The daemonic resilience that he is putting for each of the squads is a part of the benefits of the mark of nurgle, so yes, they have that legally. It is just kind of implied normally when you say "Mark of Nurgle," and most people leave it out when posting.

THis looks like a very good list.
I would however change the plague sword of the Chosen Champ for a fist. Don't want this HQ locked down now do you...
Maybe you should also keep some of your troops with Plasma guns instead of all them meltas.

    Good list

I like the 7x7 and the use of the havoks. You might want to swap a Plague Sword in for a Power Fist. The Powerfist kills most things outright, but a Plague sword will help keep the tougher troops with multiple wounds at bay. Especially against Tyranids.
