Not bad, i dont like essence, I'd recommend strength for an smaller dice roll to wound. Personally i think you need a deamon prince. Your army majorly lacks close combat. If your worried about getting shot just put it behind the preditor and if something gets close to assualt charge them with deamonic speed. And i think that the mark of undivided is useless on an hq.

Nice, try 1 squad of 2 and another of 1 each. More flexiblity.

Id recommend braking it up into specialized rather then tactical squads. IMO you dont need that many lascannon. drop 2. Make a 2 squads with 2 plasma guns and bolters with a champ. And 2 squads with lascanon and CCW and BP. <- These are the best squad for iron warriors, because they hold good lines and they can do stuff in close combat = a counter-asssualt oriented squad that has something to do when its defending your front lines. This will also help you with close combat.

I would recoment a close combat arm and a plasma cannon. You already have alot of fire power from oblits and troops and pread. So you need something to defend your lines with alot of close combat power.

This work quite good. Thought might consider droping the champ, he wont see combat.

Lascannon turret is overprised, the best tank is autocannon turret and lascannon sponson, it will be like 20 points cheaper.

PUR1F1ER he has termie armor, he already has a. inv. save. :-)

I think your list looks fine. You should be able to put a nice dent in your enemy's force in the first 2 turns.

Lol... i always forget about termie armour. Probably because i have never used it before. Personally i think that almost all iron warrior armies are quite good. Just the thing is after playing many times against dark eldar, i get paranoid with my troops not being able to support them selves in close. So i trade some firepower for closecombat power. As a fire power list its quite good. Thought it depends on your opponent and your tactictics, on the effectiveness on you army. Still, you should try to consider to close up some vounerablility of iron warriors. ie mobility and close combat.

Well thats part of the fun and fluff. How will you avoid cc?? Which units are priority?? What needs blowing up first??? Things like that.

Some people see an armies weakness as an oppritunity to exploit, which is just being a good general. When I see my own, its a challege that makes the game more fun for me personally.

I kind of agree on that but i think that armies that focus on only there straingths make the game too predictible. If you know that your strength is not in close combat, and fluff wise you would most likly not charge in, but shot. I agree it depends on the army but still, i think that going only by what the army is good in kind of makes it too predictible. As i noticed before when me and my freind played. If i sat there and shot and things coming to me i would win, if i missed something it would cause alot of my troops to crash and die from things such as talos. On the other hand its more of who has a better strategy with there streingths and weaknesses, even if i don't kill everything by shotting i still have a much bigger chance of surviving assualts and tought units like wyches or the death company. I think this is what makes it more intence and interesting, rather then knowing if you make it before you get shot you have a chance.

Actually, I wanted to really make them shooty, as I'm so used to the Tau. Making an army with CC ability is, like, unknown to me. Plus, I wanted to see if I could make an army that could just crush everybody at range.
