This is my final list, which is a horde army. Might seem insane, but rocks. Essentially, the leiutannant goes around bashing things with decent armor saves, and holding together the troops, which go in a ^ formation, with the Leiutennant in the middle, to hold a protective sheild untill CC, bringing the leiutennant out through the point.
Chaos Leiutennant - 105 Points
Accursed crozius, skilled orator.
(9x) 10 Chaos Space Marines - 150 Each
Total - 1455
Got any ideas for the 45 more points. I misplaced my coded, so i didn't put in any gifts.
You know what would really be scary? Yeah. I know that you know that i know that you know that i know what i'm thinking:
War Titans for 40k. Muahahahaha! They'd be like 50,000 points.
(This rambling brought to you by too much Caffiene)
Space Marines - 1/0/0
Night Gobbos - 1/0/0
This has got to be the most boring army I have ever seen, and it really lacks in a few areas.Originally Posted by Gerowshow
First of all, there isn't any ability to deal with tanks, and you only have 1 power weapon in the whole army. Any MC or Dread in CC will walk your whole army, I hate to see what a deamon prince with speed or flight could do. But you don't really need something that big, a standard Chap + assault squad will do about the same thing.
I love troop heavy army, but give these guys some character and a role to fill. 10 marines with 1 plas gun isn't really effective against much, except soaking wounds.
Take a havoc squad with ML, AC, or LC and tank hunter to deal with vechicles, maybe 6 man troop squads with 2 plas, toss in a CC squad or two with a fist. Maybe even some deamons. Oblits are a handy way of tossing in heavy weapons.
You really need to make this an army, and not a result of going crazy with copy/paste.
