You don't need Essence on this bad boy. Does he have Stature? If not, pick up Infiltration. You also don't really need Mutation. It tends to be overkill if anything.Originally Posted by galedrFine.Originally Posted by galedrThese guys should have a Talisman of Burning Blood. Also, I think the Champion should have a Powerfist instead of the Axe. While the Axe is a good weapon, it doesn't help against Tanks and high toughness models. If you are dead set on keeping the Axe, at least buy Daemonic Strength so you're not wounding on 4+ against MEQs.Originally Posted by galedrDrop the Plasma Pistol on the Champion. Frying an expensive model like that hamstrings the entire unit.Originally Posted by galedr
Why are you mixing a Flamer with a Plasma Gun? Stick to a special weapon and keep both of them that.Drop the Rhino. A single Rhino in the list won't last past the first turn, and is a waste of points. If you want speed, take up Infiltration. It's cheaper, and more reliable in the games that it is in effect.Originally Posted by galedrI see a problem. With only two vehicles, neither of which have any considerable defenses, they're unlikely to survive more than a turn or two. Defilers can get away with it with Indirect Fire, but that is a bad choice in a list designed to get into Close Combat.Originally Posted by galedr
I think you should drop this guy. He's unlikely to live long, and extremely unlikely to make his points back. If you do keep him, atleast give him Indirect Fire, and hope your scatter die is kind to you.Lascannons, no! Too expensive! Take Missile Launchers + Tank Hunters for the exact same effect, but at a much cheaper price. Also, add a couple more models to the squad to give some padding against incoming fire.Originally Posted by galedrNever mix and match heavy weapons in a Havoc unit. I suggest just going with 4x Autocannons for this squad, as it's the best of both Missile Launchers and Heavy Bolters.Originally Posted by galedr
Again, drop some extra marines into the unit.
