You can onley have one daemon weapon per army, so get rid of one of 'em on your Champs.

As for the rest of teh army...im thinking that you should buff up the mutants squads a bit. 15 just wont cut it; muties are more or less cannon fodder, and will get eaten alive by most basic weapons, so i think you should buff there numbers, bring a boss in each squad with a powerfist, and maybe take some flamers. The bosses can help out a bunch in CC, and flamers add some assaulty power to the squad.

That leaves Heavy Support...which, in your army, I find funkey. I think you should get rid of the basilisk and defiler, and bring a leman russ instead. Now use the left over points to buff your mutants and maybe bring a small pack of Daemons.

Way better. . . I'd add plasma guns to your traitor squads. Then use the rest of the points to bulk up your mutant #'s Also you may want to swich to heavy bolter for the front of your leman russ to save a few more points for more mutants, but that is a personal preference thing. I like your second list.

Extra points could be spent on Hellhound or Rough Riders - both great.

bebe: He cant get a hellhound, as its 115pts, and he only has 94 left over to spend.

So, that means you could take an 8-man unit of 'Riders with hunting lances for 88pts and have 6 pts left over to buy a meltabomb or a demonic gift for one of your champs

Or you could just get the oblit, two mutants, and a meltabomb or something...it's really up to you to decide.

I know he would have to change a pf for something cheaper to make up the points. But Hellhounds ar great in a LaTD list. I use one and a unit of 'Riders but he has too few points for that.

I just hate Oblits in an LatD force although they arguably the best choice for this list. I like LatD as an alternative to my reg. chaos as it gives me a chance to play traitor guard and use those leman russes and hellhounds and sentinels.

The list is really pretty good for 1000 points. Fifty some odd models and lots of heavy firepower and it is still pretty shooty. Should fare well and is not at all beardy. I like it.
