    3,000, World Eaters, friendly (sorta)

This will be my anti power armour list. I plan to take on Necrons, Marines, and Daemonhunters with this list. It will never be used against say Tyranids, so don't worry about that.

    Parsitic Posession
    Mutated Hull

    2,783 points

This is just a work in progress that I jotted down in English class on Thursday(I was really bored  ) so the points may not all be right. If they are right, I need to drop 12 points from the list so I can add in a unit of posessed to soak up some fire. I'd like to take those points from wargear and not vehicle upgrades if possible, but I guess it is ok if we have to drop something from a vehicle. I've been thinking about dropping my collars of Khorne in the 170 point squads because I'm not protecting much there, but I'm not sure. By the way, I'm trying to keep this list a bit fluffy, so all infantry units must be in multiples of 8.

This is the posessed unit I will add if the points work out.

    8 Posessed Berzerkers - 229
    8 Marks of Khorne
    8 Khornate Chainaxes
    1 Talisman of Burning Blood

All advice is also welcome, but keep in mind it is anti-power armour, so I don't need horde protection.

One of the biggest mistakes a 40K player can make is taking someone elses army to battle. Remember its your army, play it how you play it.

Khorne is perfect for Hordes though. Think of all the attacks you can level right now, you definitely have strength against hordes. I'd say this is a good all around list, capable of taking on any opponent. Fighting Orks with this list seems like it would be a blast...

I wouldn't bother with collar of khorne on anything other then ICs. Also, Terminators can't have ToBB; even if they cold it would be pointless seeing as how they don't roll for Blood Frenzy.

I would opt for Powerfists in all your Bezerker squads and Demonic strength to help against vehicles.
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
    He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad

You know, I originally had some beefy aspiring champions but was cutting down the points to try to add the possessed marines. If I can't find my 12 points off, the aspiring champions will be put back up to par to handle walkers and the like.

Now, you are right on the fact that terminators can't take the Talisman of Burning Blood, but where does it say that they can't blood frenzy? I know that they can't sweeping advance but I can't find any limitations of them using the Blood Frenzy special rule. I'll feel stupid if its obvious, but could you cite the page number and heading or quote it for me?

And yes, Khorne is great against hordes, but then I would have 60 some points to drop in Khornate Chainaxes and my predators would change a lot. I would also drop in some lightning claws for those carnifexes and Hive tyrants. As much cc damage as I could do I still would hate to take marines against genestealers. They are better in cc and cheaper, so I just can't see it working out all that well.

It's either in the erata, or the FAQ. I can't seem to find it at the moment.

Must be in the erata which is impossible to find nowadays, as I just looked through the FAQ and didn't see it.

Terminators get Blood rage just like Bezerkers do.

Thanks Sabe. Now I'm wondering why they can't have the talisman. And trying to find a reasonable movement substitute without investing in the land raider and dropping my defiler.
