Since I am going have a debut in the tournament scene, I want to make a powerfull army.
So here's my 1500 points khorne heavy black legion list:
Mark of Khorne
Feel no Pain
2x squad of 7 khorne berzerkers with chainaxes and frag grenades
aspiring champions with powerfist, bolt pistol, talisman of burning blood
4 khorne bikers with chainaxes and frag grenades
aspiring champion with powerfist
6 Havocs with MoCU, 3 bolters, 3 Auto Cannons and Tank hunters
1 Predator with TLLC and LC sponsons
1 Predator with AC and HB sponsons
This comes 1 or 2 points away from 1500 points (and I did include the cost for the aspirings chainaxe).
What I wanted is a list that can do some serious harm to vehicles, while also being able to dish out some anti troop firepower and a lot of close combat nastiness.
I know his list isn't the fluffiest one around, and I wouldn't use this list in friendly games.
The tournament is coming up guys, I really need help.
Well, all in all it looks like a pretty nice list.
I've only been playing chaos for a short while, but I've trounced enough chaos players to give some pointers, and to pass on pointers that other chaos vets have given me.
your lord: its personal preference, but I would personally drop the stature, and either toss him next to, or in a unit of 'zerkers. Because that's a very pricy guy to be shot at a lot from turn one. he will be just as effective if not more being able to not be targetted.
I think tactically stature is great if you are presenting a LOT of targets that your oponent needs to choose between.
Your 'zerker squads look good and tough.
Oblits are good(see if you can't max em out, though it might be overkill)
I'd drop the bikers, and a predator. in favor of maybe 2 squads of Marines(I use infiltrate with 2 meltas or plasmas) if you can, pump up the bloodletters' number and gate them in through these infiltrators.
I just don't like bikes, myself. If you are certain you want bikes, and the predator, I would reccomend going for redundancy then,(2 preds with TL Lascannons, and HB sponsons + smoke and Ex. Ar.) then add one biker in place of the Daemonic posession on your predator(if you can find the last XX points somewhere). They'll both be tough, relatively inexpensive and all in all effective.
The havocs are a good choice.
I hope these suggestions help.
