    Death guard 1500pts friendly

    Well nurgles is the latest army to catch my eye. What im aiming for is a list that plays different to my main moble eldar force. nurgle seemed the perfect choice as its troops are resilient and not specialised. just what i need to force myself to use different tactics to the ones i know.

    Lord= Mark of nurgle, manreaper, bolt pistol, nurgles rot, infiltrate, frag grenades, d aura, d strength, d speed 157pts

    7 marines= mark of nurgle, infiltrate, asp champion w/ power fist, nurgles rot 174pts

    7 marines= mark of nurgle, infiltrate, asp champion w/ power fist, nurgles rot
    174pts

    7 marines= mark of nurgle, 2 meltaguns, asp champion w/ power fist, nurgles rot
    173pts
    Rhino = smoke launchers, extra armour 58pts

    7 plaguebearers 112pts

    7 plaguebearers 112pts

    5 nurgling bases 50pts

    Defiler = mutated hull 180

    Predator = turret autocannon, sponson lascannons, mutated hull 155pts

    Predator = turret autocannon, sponson lascannons, mutated hull 155pts

    total 1500pts

    Nothing has been brought yet so feel free to make any suggestions. However note that im really keen on having demons (because i just like the idea of summoning monsters...) and at least one defiler (i love the model). i included two predators because i prefer to err on the side of caution when it comes to tank busting but i will happy to get rid of one if someone better informed than me says its not needed or there is something better. the nurlgings only just made it in, the fact that they are so cheap was the swinger but i worried that they may not do anything as the rest of my foot troops are mounted or infiltrating. i choose a rhino over infiltrating the last plague marine squad because it gives the possibility or drive bys if needed, otherwise it will simply be a distraction to protect my heavies. anyhow thanks for any comments made...

    hmm. i would get rid of the nurglings unless your just looking for meat sheilds. if u get rid of them give the other 2 plague marine squad melta weapons or plasma. . . Or give ur lord stature and stuff tool him up. up to u

    Hmm, how about cutting down on a few nurgling bases to get your tactical squads a little more flexibility?
    A flamer for one and melta/plasma for another?
    It's difficult, because your lord and demons want some CC action - especialy wih his mighty man reaper, but the rest of your army screams hold the line and set up kill zones.
    You can't afford to have your Lord go in alone to summon the demons or he'll get butchered. Which is a good point, what are you going to do about icons?
    Or are the demons more of a counter attack ploy?
