    Two lists, both of which I need critique on:

    The Rhino's provide quick transports, supporting fire, and shields if needed. Havocs and Obliterators play heavy firepower, while the normal marines are effective against swarms.

    Like the previous list, this focuses on lots and lots of heavy firepower. I'm a bit afraid about having no decent CC other than the lieutenant and the ACs (4 powerfist attacks is nice, though). Any recommendations for either list?

    Chaos Lieutenant (MoCU, Sorceror, Winds of Chaos, Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol) 82 Points

    Total: 82 Points
    Added up WAY out, i make it 101, i think you have taken the second points cost not the first, a HQ choice always uses the higher points cost, Sorceror upgrade is a pointed one.

    If you wan a capable combat character take a dark blade with bolt pistol. Cheap and good, perhaps add in there resilenece.

    Oblits cannot take veteran skills.
    Take squads of one instead of twos, its more versitile.

    1x Aspiring Champion (Bolt Pistol, MoCU, Powerfist, Demonic Mutation) 54 Points

    The combi bolter comes for free on the rhino, its already included in the cost.
    Dont take heavy bolters take two plasma guns, much better, as more often than not you will play MEQs.
    If you want to shoot, dont take aspiring champions, if you want to combat take them.

    Heavy Support

    Dont mix and match weapons in havoc units. Either take lascannons or take auto cannons. If you diversey targets then you loose the units specialisation.

    I will crituqe the second list after you have added it up correctly.

    That sound you here is me hammering my head on the table. I've recalculated everything and removed illegal choices, so the lists should be accurate now.

    if you want to keep your leader, then go ahead and keep him, this is only my advice, its your army after all. He just lacks slightly in the combat section. perhaps adding Daemonic strength would amend this.

    You have got rhino transports and i see this as making aggresive manuvres. If you dis embark, you cannot shoot that turn, so you may be two turns of shooting down.

    As that aspiring champion cost nearly four marines. If you get into combat with a shooting squad you are either
    A Doing somthing wrong
    B Desperate to get somthing out of it
