    Hi

I think 3 units of 2 oblits will be beter.

Units of 6 CM with LC and Plasma - drop Tank hunting and 1 CM and plasma... I think LC and Plasma will degenerate one or second one...

Than you can save some points...
And reduce large units of 13 CM and add another one unit
    (fighting or shooting).

    Hmm? :w00t:

    10 Chaos Space Marines

I know there aren't rhinos, but I'm banking on too many choices to shoot means several units get into HtH. The 3+ save helps too. Meanwhile the Bas is targetting units shooting at the assault guys. The shooty CSM's, pred and maybe oblits (if some don't DS) initially targets armour to assist the charging assaulters make it to HtH. One shooty CSM can infiltrate for better firing positions, the other can tank hunt. Plus I've got more scoring units. I'm confident this list is improved anyway so cheers for that

    nice list
but one comment: if you put Furious Charge and PF to one unit, you lose advantage of +1I for AC. And Furious Charge is expensive upgrade. + Foot marines aren't one of the fastest units. They could be charged.

I like the list, I agree with OTA's advice,
however.. your Lord, the Rune doesn't sit with me very well. I mean, I know you're worried about insta kill.. but is he worth THAT much to you?

I just think it could be spent better elsewhere that's all.
Spiky bits or D. Aura, D. Speed or Furious charge..

    Give it a thinky.
But as I said, nice list :w00t:

No need for the Rune, especially if he'll be hiding out in a squad. However, Aura is always a good buy. Instead of Rune, it's advisable to simply keep him cheap and not worry over if you're going to lose him. Also, drop Mutation for Spiky Bits. Cheaper and nearly always accomplishes the same goal.

If you have points to spare, Daemonic Speed is a neat toy to give as well. The trick is to hide him in a squad and then have him bolt out as a surprise factor when your opponents close. Typically your opponents will think he has no extra movement mode since he's footslogging with Marines, and will under estimate his charge range.

I don't condone the mixing of special weapons. If the unit has a role, have them stick to it and try not to generalize too much. 2x Meltas would be a better choice unless you play plenty of Horde armies, in which case the Flamers are better.

I also don't see much point of the Frags. In most cases, the Champion accounts for the bulk of the kills accredited to the unit, and he'll always strike last, frags or no. You can easily free up 20 points just by not taking the Frags, but I know some people swear by them. If I had a choice, I'd take more special weapons over Frags.

These guys can keep the frags, since they greatly benefit the Champion. Otherwise a spot on group. I would see about giving this group Furious Charge instead of one of the PF groups.

    Good.

Go with Infiltration instead. You have plenty of anti-tank already, so the Tank Hunters is superflous.

Both of these are good. However, I see the Predator being the only vehicle needing LoS, which makes it ripe for the enemy tank hunters.

Thanks for all your help chaotic denizens. Could this be the final list??? I've squeezed in another marine and used all points. The lord is very dangerous if he can get into HtH! He's really a demon prince now, but I don't have one. I'll be using Abaddon (I know, sacrilege). Hopefully the opponents won't have a problem with that. There are less powerfists in the list, but most champs & units will strike simul, or 1st if charging unless there are Dark Eldar etc I'll try to get the pred into a hull down position right from the start. Thanks again for the help.
