This is a list I made using my current models. I want it to be a friendly and competitive list. Any help is appreciated.
Lord Abethar the Insane
Feel No Pain
Total - 143
Move Through Cover
Total - 105
Total - 140
3x Plasma Guns
Move Through Cover
Total - 140
Total - 280
Talisman of Burning Blood
Total - 189
Total - 184
Total - 58
Edit: One thing I forgot to mention. This list is 31 points short of 1500 for a total of 1469. This will give a bit to work with for any changes.

Usually lists aren't both friendly and competitive
This list is a bit more competitive than friendly! You have the minimum 2 troops, 3 heavies and 2 HQ. I know it's made from your existing models but some folks may see this list as not balanced because of low troop count. Otherwise the list is basically ok.
Maybe the havoc squads could be smaller. They will probably just sit n shoot, so perhaps drop the bolter guys and just keep the big guns to save some points. They probably don't need move thru cove AND infiltrate. They will probably just infiltrate to a good spot and sit n shoot. The weapon choice of 3 plasma guns and 1 melta also seems a bit strange for havocs who are usually long range specialists. If you want them to be tankbusters, perhaps give them all meltaguns and put them in a rhino for fast delivery of melta death. That could be a nasty squad, and would (or should) certainly attract a lot of attention.
The rhino might be wasted on the berserkers. They can't assault when they get out. If they rage, they just get out of the rhino anyway. Perhaps only a talisman with that squad might be better? Furious charge also goes well on zerk squads. Feel no pain is also worth considering on the champs.
Anyway, good luck with it and have fun :w00t:

Hey there grand master, I think what you're getting at with the friendly and competative is that you want this to be more of a fun list, but you don't want it to be a pushover, right?
If that's so, then I'll keep in mind to keep your theme and ideas intact and make some suggestions on what you've got.So, I would switch out the great weapon out for a darkblade. and then give this guy an extra CCW for cheap. this give him an excellent strength AND an extra attack. Though it does make him a bit more expensive. Perhaps even an axe of khorne to be unique? I haven't heard much of statured lords using them, people usually focus on the typical beat-up combos like the darkblade, or dreadaxe, even more nasty, the berzerker glaive.Originally Posted by grand master
A great weapon can be very fluffy, but I think there are more effective pieces of equipment you can give him that are equally fun without being as "beardy" or competative as a dreadaxe.
As everything, its up to you, there are some suggestions but if you feel that my suggestions fit your theme as well, I would definitely do it.So, just in case you didn't know, move through cover is free on independent characters.Originally Posted by grand master
why not give this guy a power weapon in case you want to toss him into combat to support another squad?obliterators rule, nothing further to say, except get another one when the points allow.Originally Posted by grand masterinteresting, though if your oponent gets first turn I know exactly what will get shot and assaulted first. And they will because they need to infiltrate relatively close to make use of those awesome weapons. Be sure to back them up with another squad.Originally Posted by grand masteralright, I would give them infiltrate as well so you can position them far away and in a good firing lane.Originally Posted by grand masterI don't like land raiders much, but it can work.Originally Posted by grand master
I would drop the havoc launcher. its such an expensive upgrade, take the daemonic posession instead for that many points.they should get some frag grenades, well worth the cost. otherwise just fine!Originally Posted by grand mastersame as aboveOriginally Posted by grand masterRhinos for khornate berzerkers, I think you will get frustrated when they hop out and run for it.Originally Posted by grand masterInteresting list, I think right now, it could use some more anti- tank support. perhaps in the way of a all lascannon predator. But since these are the models you have, I think they will do well in most situations.Originally Posted by grand master
