Toying around with Alpha Legion. Main reason for that besides me liking alpha legions style, it is very cost friendly to play them. This list can be made in the low to mid 200's from the right websites. Tell me what you think.

"...a swarm of mechanised locusts sweeping over the land, stripping it bare of resources, bringing death and destruction to anything that stands in its path. Emperor preserve us against the predations of these so-called Orkish cults of speed!" - Cardinal Nomura at the Conclave of Hessen
Hey again bruiser, here's my thoughts on your alpha legion.Looks good, he has everything he should, very much like my Lord.Originally Posted by Bruiser117You can drop these guys down to 8. Why don't you give them MoCU, its cheap and a life-saver, absolutely worth the points.Same as above.Originally Posted by Bruiser117Just fine, Caluin makes extensive use of these guys and they can be really nasty.Originally Posted by Bruiser117
Mark of Chaos undivided, cheap and essential.Excellent, but too expensive for 1500pts. I don't even consider putting them into a list until 1850. They're just too many eggs in one basket for my taste, I would rather field more troops, or obliterators!Originally Posted by Bruiser117Good. At 1500pts, there's no reason why they can't be 8-man, 4 HQ havocs.Originally Posted by Bruiser117
Autocannons need the number of shots to make them truely effective. I strongly suggest flushing at least this squad out to an 8-man, 4 HW squad.
I don't like lascannons for havocs because of the cost. I reccomend switching them out for missile launchers or more autocannons.Alpha legion is awesome, I've had so much success with mine, and your list is very similar to mine and caluin's. I suggest dropping in a trio of obliterators in here for versatility in ranged firepower, they are so awesome I would never leave home without them in an army that can take them.Originally Posted by Bruiser117

W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
In addition to what theyak said (great advice btw) Switch the lords ccw for a bp. Might as well give him a chance to shoot, costs the same number of points and still gives you the extra attack.
With the extra points gained from dropping the raptors you can get 2 nice sized squads of cultists.
Xbox Gamertag: x Helbrecht x
i like your list alot! very streemlined.
on your hq, he has been play tested with me many a time, he can be worth every point or die to lasgun fire, just play him well.
i strongly suggest lowering the 10 man squads to 8 and adding mark of undivided. might as well save your self the grief of having a squad break and waste a turn! great config though.
and look you just saved 44 points!
use and abuse those plasma teams. they make marines sad and jealous.
those raptors can be the one unit that shuts em down off the bat, but along with the rest of your army when they get shot at first turn they live and die like marines, marines that are costing close to 50ish points a model, thats alota points down the drain real quick. that possibility can be made quite real and quite fast by many an unfortuneate terrain setup or sound list. consider setting your fly boys to one task, anti tank or cc. the differences in configuration should be pretty obvious, close combat 8 man strong with furious charge. anti tank 5 or 6 with 2 meltas or 3, i prefer 2 instead of 3. oh and of course infiltrate. if you end uping going with a close combat squad i would suggest ...
8 raptors MoChaos Undivided 2 flamers furious charge champ with power weapon
this would save you 38 points. and give your raptors a much better chance of survival. and heck they are easily still gunna grab a second or third turn charge! the reason i suffest you opt for flamers on these bad boys is because 2 flamers on a jump pack unit has the movement to lay down 2 punishing templates in just the right spot. and oh yes 2 flame templates against a squad of marines will get ya more than 2 dead marines the average for 3 melta guns.
your heavies look pretty good. the auto cannon boys are perfect!
i understand your need for both infiltrate and tank hunters on em.... as for the lascan boys ideally id like to see em changed to missile launchers, for points sake man, but with lascannon i believe tank hunters is a bit redundant, and excrutiatingly pricey! so id say drop tank hunters on em. 18 points! and a missile launcher swap equates to...45 points!
think my points are right...
leaves you with 147 plus the 9 you had and bam 156 points left just enough for another...
i see some potential, some oblits could do some real good in here and hey you could fit em in with the slightest of change.

I reckon drop 1 raptor, and get meltas on to the 8 man strong squads.
Nice list. Really nice list. Welcome to ALpha legion.
P.S just incase you want another heavy choice - your oblits are actually elites.
