What do you think of it for a start and where should it go from here?
Why not Manreaper on your Daemon prince?
Also, where are you powerfists on your squads? I would strongly advice getting some assault weapons into your squads too.
2 Plasmas or 2 meltas. You won't regret it.
I'm not sure your elites are adding much to the army. They're awfully expensive for 1000 points. They're probably quite fun to use though. They would benefit infinitely more from the Rhino though (they need to be CC fast)
I believe most GT are 1850pts, that leaves me some points to play around with and a few more units. I am trying to get a feel for the number of troops I should have, as a Necron player your troops are expensive. I was hoping that at 1500pts to have around 50+ models on the board and the other 350pts in armorment.
As for the Manreaper I like to play WYSIWYG and GW thought that the Nurgle daemon prince did not need a scythe, but I might add one to him. Does any one know if the scythe on the Typhus model fit well with the NDP model?
for 1850, that's fine - nice to have some possessed in there - especially winged for nurgle.
As for WYSIWUG.. uuuh.. Man reaper, you'll probably have to use a scythe, but for 'undivided' daemon weapons you can model them as you wish as long as you advice your opponent.
Typhus's scythe will probably look a wee bit puny on the nurgle prince chap... you could always convert something up? (and then post some tasty pictures )
If you're a necron player, then you should bear in mind that a vanilla plague marine still costs 1 more point than a necron.
In my 1500 alpha list, I field about 40 marines and once piece of armour - but whatever works for you yeah?
I do realize that they are one point more then a necron warrior, but with seven warriors you do not get a free champion upgrade, so this is where save points and for a T5 model by the necrons they cost ten points more then a warrior.Originally Posted by Karmoon
So for 1500pts, I should have about 17 more marines unless lesser daemons count toward this then it would be ten more, plus giving the possessed wings or a transport of some sort. I would also add some more nurglings, as they are a must for DG.
Karmoon thanks for the good advice.
I'm thinking Kaelis,
even at 1500, your anti tank is quick lacking (specifically lascannons).
Put it like this, 750 points, I came against a dreadnought and 2 Land speeders. 1000 points my guard friend fields 4 tanks.
So at 1500 - 1850.. you get the idea. If you want your list to have a chance against a variety of opponenets, i would strongly recommend at least 1 predator annihilator or somemore dreadnoughts.
They're my latest thing to go on about, but infiltrating nurgle havoc, with 4x melta/plasma is very very nice.
