HQ: Lt with Infiltrate and Kaigun 95P
Elite: Retuine: 7 Chosen (5 Boltpistol + CCW, 2Plasma Guns, Raptourus Standart) 224P
Heavy: 2 Predator with Blastmaster and 2 Heavy B. (Mutated Hull, Daemonic Possession, Daemonic Parasit) 360P
Fast: 6 Daemonettes on Steeds 168P
St: 2 * 8 Noise Marines ( Infiltrate, 2 Boltpistol+CCW, 5 Sonic Blaster, 1 Blastmaster) 422P
2 * 6 Daemonettes 180P
2 * 6 Noise Marines (5 Boltpistol+CCW, Tank Hunter, Lascannon) 294 P
Basicly my Strategy is if i start 1st i concentrate Fire on Infantry and the 2 * 8 Noise Marines run forward to summon the Daemonettes next Turn in Close Combat (only works if the template doesnt scatter).
If i start 2nd i will use the Raptourus Standart to safe most of my infiltrating troops and then go on like above. ( i know that this requires a close formation what makes me highly vulnerable to battle cannons but i hope that if the enemy got some of them they dont hit )
Looks rather balanced, not too bad a list.
Lieutenant is a little dull. If he's gonna be infiltrating give him a CC weapon- Power Weapon and D.Strength is only 20 points and beefs his combat prowess considerably. With just the Kai Gun he's pretty much defenceless in CC, and with Infiltrate he's conna be in combat early.
Chosen are a nice addition, but I dislike the Rapturous standard. Nothing stopping you using it, tis just personal preference.
Argh, Mounted Daemonettes. No, no, no. almost twice th cost or fregular daemonettes, with next to no added killing ability. Most of that cost is their ability to get around quicker- but since you're summoning them, they should start off amongst the enemy lines. A big waste of points here. Stick to using them in WHFB.
Regular daemonettes are fine. I suggest making one of them unfavoured- if they get let out too early, they'll die to small arms fire.
Noise Marines are nice. ?Unusual squad size, and might i suggest some Aspiring Champions? Sicne you have infiltrate, some added power in combat would help, even if they're armed with CCWs.
Lascannon? Naff. Blastmasters are what you want. Cheaper, more versatile, and almost as good at opening heavy armour as a lascannon.
Personally, I think you've spent too many points upgrading the Predators. Extra Armour is much cheaper than Daemonic Possession, and is almost as useful. Parasitic Possession is just lame. Drop the pointsinks and bulk up somewhere else.
So really, all you need to do is drop those Mounted Daemonettes and add some little bits to what you've already got there. Should turn into a rather nice list.
I give this list a big thumbs up including not falling into the trap of using favored number units when it is bad for you. The 8 man infiltrators is solid stuff. However, a few comments.
Drop tank hunter off the 6 man lascannon squads. Replace with infiltrate. You don't have to infiltrate close. You want to infiltrate them to a spot with good firing lanes. Moving that squad hurts its effectiveness greatly. Also, since they are 6 man squads you get free AC's so take them. You dont have to upgrade them at all but when you get charged they will be a free extra CC attack for nothing. Also, this squad may benifit from adding a plasma cannon to allow them to use the plasma and lascannon on MEQ infantry or light armor. It will up this squads flexability and killing potential greatly.
I agree about putting a power sword and strength on the LT. However, it is 25 points not 20.
The chosen squad needs to question itself carefully. First, the rapturous standard sounds better than it is. The rule on it is that it has to be declared to be used AT THE BEGINNING of the PHASE it will be used in. This means you declare its use, and your opponent simply chooses not to shoot at that unit and whipes someone else out. They simply aren't threatening enough to make it worth it. Also, as I can see you have decided to go with chosen as a shooting squad and because you have spent all 6 troop slots. While this allows the use of the standard, you have paid 21 points to access that standard just by making them choosen. Additionally, there is really no in game benifits from using a unit as a retinue as it simply limits your lord flexiblity and can force him to take wounds of the units when they get blownout in CC.
Instead of the chosen as you set them up, I would recommend switching to a 8 man havoc squad with 4 plasma and infil. Makes them much better at what they do and makes them a serious threat to MEQ armies. With so little other low ap weapons on your list this will expand your weapon variation.
The para possession on the pred may be overkill but I say stick to daemonic possession. However, consider carefully if the blastmaster is better than the autocannon. Blastmarkers can be negated by good enemies and the one more strength is hit or miss. It is a bit better for armor pen. but decreases number of rolls so against hull down or fast skimmer tanks it is simply worse.
I like the daemonettes on steeds. They can easily overcome bad scatter rolls and the mutation greatly improves their rending. Also, with his troops maxed out he HAS to take them if he wants a thrid daemon unit.I agree that adding two more to each squad could be nice. However, you can wave your favored unit +1 if you want. The rule is you "may" add +1 on your summoning not that you must or that a new chart exists.Originally Posted by monsieurcartierpas
Now I like this list, but it runs into the problem I have with all EC lists. You should ask the question, is this better than a Black Legion army with some slaanesh units? I would have to say no.
Being EC you get free AC's you don't take, early summons, which is very nice in this list (but as we stated 8 man non-favored may actually work better), blastmaster on the preds (which isn't a big improvement from the autocannon), and you get free fluff.
What you gain from Black legion: you may MOCU instead of MOS on units that will never use or reap the benifits. Fearless is nice, but MOCU is cheaper and practically fearless for all pinning and morale check needs. So, the lascannon units and the chosen (or alternately my havoc suggestion) are paying for an upgrade they won't use. Essentially that would save you 76- 80 points by dropping bonuses you aren't using. That is A LOT!!!
Ruthlessness is the mercy of the wise.
I'd say that MoCU with an Aspiring Champion is better Fearless.
You're likely to hold your ground in CC anyway, also sometimes it's beneficial to fall back, regroup and then give the enemy a plasma sandwich.
Further more to what Student of Chaos said, with undivided you get access to Obliterators. And yes, they are big, and they are clever
With regards to the list.. I'd cut down on some of the sonic blasters to get some melta or plasma weapons in there.
There's a disturbing lack of aspchamps with p.weapons and d.strength. Your list is shooty based, but that doesn't stop anyone from assaulting you. Think of it as insurance, plus it makes your squads more tactically flexible.
As student of Chaos has eloquently said, the Chosen are doing nothing from you at the moment. Drop them to take a special infiltrated plasma/shooty squad, or give them a Daemon Icon to guarantee the delivery of daemons.
It's certainly an interesting list. But if you want to capitalise on shooting then make sure that's what you do. A single blast master/Lascannon here and there isn't going to ever amount to much unless you're lucky. Instead, try one or two squads of havocs with 3 or 4 times a certain weapon. It just makes them more effective.

Yes, Fearless has its drawbacks, but this in an EC list, so no MoCU. There's nothing wrong with using pure legion lists, even if it does limit your selection choices.Originally Posted by Karmoon
I wholeheartedly agree when Karmoon and studentofchaos say that you lack CC prowess. I said that too anyway.
