    1500pts latd

    I made this idea while playing a game and "gee i whis i had done this or that" bla bla bla. But i mad this list while playing warhammer with some friend and i want to know what you think of it.

    My my idea was to put in a leman russ and a five man squad of traitors the way they are maybe with shotguns. or i can try to put in two squads of night lords or a squad of berzerkers
    So what do you think i should use for the last 155pts?:blink:

    I don't believe that these guys are allowed to have Khornate Chainaxes. The Mark of Khorne that they use is the LatD version, and there are no weapon upgrades available for them. Besides, you don't want to be using anything besides that Power Fist, anyways. I'd recommend swapping the Axes and Frags for a Bolt Pistol, and if you can get the points, Daemonic Mutation. Nothing like having 5 Power Fist attacks, 6 on the charge.

    Mark of Tzeentch - is this the movement one? If so, drop it, and either leave them blank or get the Nurgle one that gives them an enhanced armour save. Units move as slow as the slowest models, so you won't make use of their better movement because of the Aspiring Champions.

    I'd recommend dropping the Havoc Launcher. Besides that, though, it isn't bad - maybe add Mutated Hull for the heck of it?

    I don't know if you need a Leman Russ, but I would recommend finding something to help you either vs. MEQs or vs. tanks, even though you have those Obliterators.

    ok ill see what i can do
    i gett what you meant about the mot on the mutant models and i was talking with my friends they say it anit worth it either guess i should of lisented better "oops" o well
    Oh and before i forget to tell you you can what you want to the champion anything from there book in the chaos codex

    It's not necessarily that it isn't worth it - it's more like it's completely wasted if you're attaching those AC's to the squads (which you should be doing!). The AC's can't move faster because they don't have that ability, so the Mutants wouldn't be able to make use of it.

    maybe consider splitting up those oblits so you wont get fried all at once and you can have a little more shooting flexability

    First off, he can't take more than one unit of Obliterators - I am pretty sure he has 0-1 Elites choices from the CSM codex, and Obliterators are 0-1 anyways.

    However, Obliterators are bought as a single Elites choice, and are deployed at the same time, but they are independent of one another and are basically single-model units. So, they won't all get fried, and the flexibility is there. :yes:

    Mr. Nemesis.. i'm not sure I follow you, but you seem to suggest that oblits function like Lictors or Zoanthropes.

    Obliterators must function in a squad and maintain group coherency.

    The only legion capable of fielding more than one obliterator in seperate squads is of course Iron Warriors.

    Yeah - I keep confusing myself these days with models from other armies. :wacko: Nothing Tyranid-related, of course, but for some reason I kept thinking Obliterators were separate models... too much reading in the DH codex with those Assassins, I guess.
