I just scrapped up the mini's I had. I played a 2 on 2 game and lost pretty much with this list. I know for one I won't be taking Cypher anytime soon again. It's a cool model but I didn't really think it was effective. Killing like... 2 models the entire game. The Infiltrate squad did best killing a squad loyalist marines and some single marines from other squads.
Another thing I know for sure is that I need some lascannons. With the opposing team having both a dread and a single pred. i think it's wise to bring those along next time.
I've played against Black tamplars/Crimson fist. The "teammate" played Adeptus custodes (but he just used basic SM rules)
This list could probably go on the pile. Any suggestions.
He's okay, personally i am not a fan of D. Princes. That's just me. Any way, drop the essence and replace with resillience, one of the single most important upgrades to any HQ. Besides, an extra wound wont really do much for you. Also, i think Spikey bits is kind of useless here, it just takes extra points. Plus you have such a high Weapon Skill anyway. This guy might have problems getting into battle, give him D. Speed. and drop armor. Consider a daemon weapon. Such as Darkblade if you have vehicle and high toughness problems or a dreadaxe if you face alot of nids.
As an Alternative, you can give these guys mark of nurgle, and keep them at 6 troops. Make sure they have infiltrate
Or Mark of Khorne, and give them 8 marines. make sure they have talisman if you take this option.
Which ever CC option you decide on, if you can, get two.
