Having been playing the Azazel model as Demon Prince in my World Bearers, i realized, that i could play it as a Slaaneshi Lord, with Initiative matching Genestealers.
Along with a Slaaneshi Lieutenant, now they provide more reliable CC support the mostly shooty army.
No more World Bearers...anyway, i grew tired of masses of Daemonettes and Flamers.
So, the list as of now:
Demon Prince (MoS,Stature,Speed,Aura,Strength,Resilience,2x CCW) 137 pts
Chaos Lieutenant (MoS,Teminator Armor,Kai Gun,Lightning Claw) 130 pts
3x Obliterators 210 pts
5x Raptors (3x Meltaguns,Infiltrate) 190 pts
3x 6x Chaos Space Marines (LasC,PlasG,BPs&CCWs,Champ. w. PowF&BP) 411 pts
8x Chaos Space Marines (Bolters) 112 pts
2x Predators (AC,HB sponsons,Demonic Possession,Havoc Launcher) 310 pts
38 models, 1500 pts
I changed the list, but only after playing a battle with my original. (Some random shoulder-tubes as Doom Sirens)
So, Azazel loses its wings, again.

He looks good otherwise. He looks okay. I like the choice of the Lightning Claw and Kaigun, you won't get a second attack with Kaigun any way so...HQ2:
Chaos Lieutenant (MoS,Teminator Armor,Kai Gun,Lightning Claw,Doom Siren,Krak G.) 142 pts
Have you given thought to Daemon Weapons from the Slaanesh armoury?Muy Bueno! Good choice as always.Elite1:
3x Obliterators 210 ptsOkay, these guys are dedicated tank hunters, I'd just keep them in cover as you lack ablative meat shields to protect those guns.Fast1:
5x Raptors (3x Meltaguns,Infiltrate) 190 ptsYou only need 6 guys in these squads, you could break off 6 of these guys for a filler squad to bolter things to death, or give them CCW's to be a small shock assault squadTroops: 8x Chaos Space Marines (LasC,PlasG,BPs&CCWs,Champ. w. PowF&BP)
8x Chaos Space Marines (LasC,PlasG,BPs&CCWs,Champ. w. PowF&BP)
8x Chaos Space Marines (LasC,PlasG,BPs&CCWs,Champ. w. PowF&BP)I would have taken Mutated Hull instead, but that's just me. And the Havoc Launchers, I don't think are necessary, just points that should've been spent elsewhere.Heavies:
Predators (AC,HB sponsons,Demonic Possession,Havoc Launcher)
Predators (AC,HB sponsons,Demonic Possession,Havoc Launcher)Model count is low for my tastes, you'd better have a solid plan, cause you're VERY likely to be outnumbered.36 models, 1499 pts
I agree with MalSeraph one hundred percent. I suggest the points from the havoc launchers be used for a raptor and the upgrade to mutated hull for the preds, by dropping the krak on the lieutenant.
The list looks great. Even though my tsons would outnumber you(haha), I woun't feel particularly safe playing against it because every unit of yours has good to great power.
Cutting down to 6 has its merits, as by also removing Havoc Launchers, it allows to form
a 6-man squad armed with Bolters,Lascannon and Flamer, plus the 6th Raptor can be added.
But, the 8-man squads fit more into my shoot-countercharge strategy.
My tanks wouldnt leave the garage without Demonic Possession, because as long as your vehicle is hit, but still lives, it will help almost always, unlike Mutated Hull.
Havoc Launchers give the extra punch, so the Predators can pay their price by one turn of shooting. In my battle report such a tank kills 8 EC Genestealers by a single turn a shooting.
(Havoc Launcher hit 4, wounded 4, killed 3...er)
I am karmoon. I shall help you with your list, in a skillful and ruthless way.I didn't like the wordbearer fluff.. i couldn't really envisage them fighting.. but Dawn of War changed that for me.No more World Bearers...anyway, i grew tired of masses of Daemonettes and Flamers.CC prince with flight... i guess.. with the doom siren, it kinda works. But it's not ideal.. for CC i would generally recommend speed and furious charge for doom siren and flight. This means no shooting, but you will get the charge. And why settle for rivaling 'stealers when you can be as fast as a broodlord :yes:HQ1:
Demon Prince (MoS,Stature,Flight,Aura,Strength,Resilience,Doom Siren,2x CCW) 152 pts
Otherwise a big fast and well priced distraction. nicely done. Why would you ever shoot the doom siren. I know it's for initiative order and stuff.. but this guy is too expensive for what he does. The model is nice but... i don't see what he's really adding to anything. He's kinda a jack of all trades and master of none.HQ2:
Chaos Lieutenant (MoS,Teminator Armor,Kai Gun,Lightning Claw,Doom Siren,Krak G.) 142 ptsCool. If you drop down to 2, none of us will doubt how manly you are. 2 is ok sometimes alsoElite1:
3x Obliterators 210 ptsI really really really really like this set up of raptors.. it's so... cute5x Raptors (3x Meltaguns,Infiltrate) 190 pts
Be carefull with these guys and they'll reap dividends for you!good squad size. plasma is great. Powerfist champ is fantastic. I would consider changing the lascannon for a missile launcher. more or less same stopping power - more useful against hoards, plus you don't feel so bad moving when you have to.Troops:
3x 8x Chaos Space Marines (LasC,PlasG,BPs&CCWs,Champ. w. PowF&BP) 495 ptsOk.. makes sense with your squads. Possession rocks. Nothing nicer than ignoring crew shaky stun. Havoc launchers are a little too much though.Heavies:
2x Predators (AC,HB sponsons,Demonic Possession,Havoc Launcher) 310 pts
36 models, 1499 ptsCheck out the HQ tacita suggestions.. look for mr dandy or mr joy and then add a MoS. for a secondary HQ he'll make amazing CC support for your squads.I will now have to convert a Terminator "up" to Slaaneshi standards.

Oops, i blame Army Builder.
Btw, i played a battle against my friend, who now brought his "diverse" army.
It was Cleanse Omega, which was fight to a draw. (Boo, i had 132.5 points more.)
- Kai Gun fails to kill the Broodlord, which had one wound left. After this the Broodlord along with the Red Terror wipes out a 8-man squad in cover, without taking any wounds. (Powerfist in cover is not ownage.)
- The lieutenant charges the Red Terror, which had 2 wounds left. The Red Terror was no more.
- The Raptor squad, coming straight from reserve, caused two wounds on his Winged Hive Tyrant with Meltas, killing it.
- Barbed Strangler was hitting left and right, once killing 4 CSMs with a single shot.
- The two Doom Sirens managed to kill 3 Termagants in the game!
-And my favorite: 12 Hormagaunts manage to make a 23" charge at the Obliterators, 48 attacks wound an Oblit once, then Powerfists kill 3. The gaunts are out of synapse because of the long charge, they fail their great Ld, then are swept by the Obliterators.
Next turn it was the Obliterators who took off two wounds from the Hive Tyrant, so the Raptors could finish it.
-Demon Prince killed 2 Winged Warriors in two turns, then died... It is not a complete failure, isnt it?
