    Thousand Sons [Cityfight-1,000 Points]

Please keep in mind this list was intended for a cityfight, however, comments are regular use are welcome as well.

Lieutenant - Dark Blade, Bolt Pistol, Bolt of Change, Thrall Wizard x4
Thousand Sons x9 - Champ - Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Wind of Chaos, Thrall x2, Minor Psychic Power
Thousand Sons x9 - Champ - Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Wind of Chaos, Thrall x2, Minor Psychic Power
Dreadnought - Plasma Cannon, Daemonic Possession
    Defiler - Indirect Fire Upgrade

My math escapes me at the moment, but that should be right at about 1000 points even if I remember correctly. Thanks guys!

I know I said this before, and I assume I'll say it again, Wind is a great spell but relies on mobility to be efficient.
Minor Psychics, I salute you. Hardly ever used them myself (why do the God of magic get the crappiest?) the re-roll is good but the chance to get it... Maybe save those points for something else.
Why not drop them, change the Darkblade for a PW and drop the possession to get a Rhino for one of the squads(You'll have to drop a Thrall or why not a couple of Rubrics ato gain a Familiar and Gift?). Then change the other squads spell for a ranged one (Doombolt or Bolt of Change) Hide the Lt in there and blast away.
Since you have thralls and Bolt of Change on the Lt, he needs a squad wich is specialized on heavy fire. If he's on "his own" he'll be a unit - a T3 unit, if he hides in a unit that unit must shoot at the same target as he does - no tank poping with those bolts I'm afraid or you'll lose some serious Bolter joy.

I agree with Andusciassus, I would drop the minor powers.

I would say use only one thrall on wind of chaos AC's, because if they are close enough to double tap, then they usually get in assualt before using more thralls.

When I think about cityfight, I think about Leman Russ' that can't be hit on their side armour(or at least it is rare in my experience). Perhaps this list variation?

Lieutenant - dark blade, Bolt Pistol, Bolt of Change, Thrall Wizard x3 126
Thousand Sons x9 - Champ - Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Bolt of Chance, Thrall x3 276
Thousand Sons x7 - Champ - Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Wind of Chaos, Thrall x1
Rhino - extra armour, smoke 279
Dreadnought - Plasma Cannon, Daemonic Possession, smoke 138
Defiler - Indirect Fire Upgrade 175

    994, plus a thrall somewhere?

This keeps the general integrity of your list(I hope) but gives your better anti tank.

    I hope this helps!
