Please give me feedback on this list at the moment it is a little over 1000pts. The list is growing from models from the chaos marine battleforce set.

I'm not a fan of Terminator armor on chaos lords, especially if he's not joining a terminator retinue or squad. Terminator slows your lord down, and limits your possibilities with him, like being able to infiltrate. It does let you deep strike, but I personally don't think this is a good idea. When deep striking he won't come in tell later in the game, and can't assault when he comes in. Plus, with a bad scatter roll your lord could possibiliy die, or be into a bad position.
So, I'd start out with dropping Terminator Armor. Next, he's lacking some sort of weapon and speed. I'd add on D. Speed, or if the board has lots of terrain D. Flight. You could also consider a bike, but you'd have to re-configure your lord a bit more with this option. Infiltrate would also be a good idea. With regards to a good weapon, preferably one that ignores saves. I think a Dark Blade would suit you well. If you did this, you could then remove d. strength saving some points. Another option to ponder would be giving him Lightning Claws, or maybe an Ether Lance (although Ether Lances work best on bike or d. flight models).
Invulnerable saves are important, too, so D. Aura should be considered, mainly for close combat purposes as there are lots of power weapon and hidden power fist enemies out there that you're bound to run into. Use your Independant Character status to your advantage.
Now I realise that that would add quite a bit of points, and in 1k point games you don't want to load up your lord to much. So some example lords incorperating some of the above suggestions:
Lt. w/ MoCU
Is pretty cheap. You could get even cheaper with a Power Weapon and bolt pistol.
Lord w/ MoCU
If you still wanted to keep terminator armor, then add a good weapon or d. talons.
No need for D. Strength on the Berserker champion because you add the strength to your unmodified strength, so you would only be getting strength 9 rather then 8 which isn't neccesary and doens't help much. You don't really need Collar of Khorne either. I'd probably give your berserkers Khornate Chainaxes. They really help verse MEQs or other low save enemies.
As you only have a single rhino moving up the field, you might want to give your squad ToBB instead.
On your troop squads remove the plasma pistols, it's too risky on expensive models. I'd prefer a power fist instead of a power weapon, or add d. strengnth to the champion and keep the power weapon. I'd consider adding infiltrate to these. Also add MoCU.
On your bikers i'd try to add some special weapons, and give your biker d. strength or exchange the power weapon for a power fist. Add MoCU. Furious Charge may be beneficial if you keep the power fist on the ac.
I'd consider changing the Lascannon turret to an autocannon turret (on the pred).

Your army has a bit of power, but it is seriously lacking in balance and the proper upgrades that will enable each unit to be as effective as possible. Let's start from the beginning:
Ok, rant off.
1- Tank busters: Drop the a.c. upgrades and take two melta guns.
Once more, in a 1000 point game, you really can't afford to make effecitve c.c. bikers. You need to be at least at the 1500 point marker (really the 1850 mark) before you can afford to invest 300+ points in a bike squad. Of course, your bikes are cheap, but then again, they really don't do much.

Im really unsure what to do with the bikers. I want them to be in a support role for the other units but also be tank hunters which is the reason for the krak grenades. maybe i should give the champ melta bombs. I lack the materials to convert them to have meltas and i can only convert one to have plasmas so im stuck with what to do.
I have now armed my first squad of CSM with 2 plasmas. For my second squad, should i make them CC or ranged like the first squad? The plasmas in the first squad pack a fair it of punch so if i make the second squad CC and give them infiltrate i think that would be the best option, but what do you think?
Apart from the dark blade what weapon should i give my lieutenant? Also which model should i use for him? i was thinking about using the space marine commander as the only other model with options for a power sword is the lord in termi. armour which prehaps i could use any way even though my lieutenant isnt wearing termi armour?
