Best list yet I would say, although if this is for tournament play I would be careful going 4 points over:

I would say he's too expensive, but I'm very biased in that area, I like inexpensive Lieutenants, and really when he's in his squad it won't matter. Just beware hidden power fists.

Pretty standard, look good from my end although I might consider putting meltas in one or two of the squads and outfitting it/them for CC instead, especially with rhinos you can put them where you want quickly.

Hooray Oblits. I hope they serve you well.

First of all just to clarify, they have combi-bolters, not storm bolters. Looks good, albeit expensive, but I think you know that. Consider Tank Hunters? Rerolling against tanks is super fun.

Pretty standard heavy support far's I can tell, I'd try to put the 8th man in those squads but your list is pretty tight for points so I can see not being able to.

Overall I think you might need to worry about CC Monkey armies especially like Dark Eldar, you have virtually no CC capability beyond the termies and the oblits, which, while they cost a fair amount of points, aren't a very large part of your army in its totality.

I think your right about the troops so here them redone:

    MOCU
    7 Bolt pistol and CCW
    2 plasma pistol and CCW
Aspiring champ with power fist and Bolt pistol.
Transport: Rhino with Extra armour and smoke
    Total: 246

    Troops
    10 CSM
    MOCU
    7 bolt pistol and CC
    2 plasma pistols
Aspiring champ with power fist and Bolt pistol.
Transport: Rhino with Extra armour and smoke

    My thoughts

For your lord I would drop D. essence. It is way too expensive for what it does, besides if the lord is with his retinue he will be fine. Maybe take mutation for the extra attack. Otherwise I like it. I do a very similar setup as far as troops are concerned. I would be tempted to drop the second havoc squad for some fast attack. I think you could squeeze a 3 man bike squad and a squad of furies out of the resulting points. This would give you more of a CC punch. But then again I am a sucker when it comes to furies leapfrogging off of bikes!

    *EDIT*

I would switch those troops around give the melta squad CC weapons and the plasma squads bolters. That way you can use the plasma guns to full effect and fire the meltas on the run.

I'm with Iron Angel, I think you should have your Close Combat squads have the meltas and your bolter squads have the plasma guns, because double tapping with plasma is awesome and you always only get one shot with melta. If you have some time to read though, here's a large thread we had a while back: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...a-pistols.html <-- Link (I could never figure out the links on this site for so long ( )

Give at least one Terminator a Chain Fist, just incase you have to fight a Dread or Walker. Tank Hunters is a good idea for the Termies, as is Furious Charge.

As has been said, lose the D.Essence. Personally I'd swap D.Mutation for the Spiky Bits too.

If you end up with a few spare points, try Daemonic Visage and Teleport Homers for the Aspiring Champs.

I'd also make one Havoc squad into Missile Launchers, in case you meet high value Armour tanks, Carnifx, Wraithlords etc.

Overall I like your list. Good hunting.

    Lord Ramon
