Me and a friend of mine have really taken an interest lately in combat patrols, that we can just play on my table at home. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on what to take in a plague marines list for a 500 combat patrol.

Pssst.... give me kudos....
umm, this is the SPACE MARINE section, I think you should go to the CHAOS space marine section for plague marines... cause most of us don't even know what a plague marine is (ok we know it's chaos and nurgly but thats it)
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
You're in the wrong neck of the woods sonny
@ Techmarine - if you see somethin' in the wrong place then remember to report it hmm?
You want to be in the Chaos section.
Plague marines are devastating basic troopers. Between their increased T, True grit and fearlessness they're quite frankly brutal - a real joy to play with. Many loyalists would give their 5th assault cannon barrel to enjoy the experience of playing with such superior infantry.
However, like all other cults, they don't do so well in lower game matches. I'd strongly recommend taking them from 750 points plus.
Good upgrades for squads are 'melta guns' and 'powerfists on aspiring champion'.
Do a search on the Chaos Army list forum. I believe Lost Nemesis had a 500 list which was finely tuned, although that was some time ago.
Good luck, and welcome to Chaos
*looks shifty until this is moved* :shifty:
