Trying to find balance, without fateweaver 1850

I'm going to play test this list on sunday, no flying monsters, no fate weaver, I'm trying to go out of the normal balance to try and find something worth playing for this edition, so many options, but so much stuff is still going against our codex

    Tell me what you think

    Great unclean one(warlord)
    -flies.

    Herald of tzeentch
    -disk

    9 flamers
    -pyrocaster

    9 Flamers
    -pyrocaster

    6 fiends
    -might

    5 plaguebearers
    5 plaguebearers
    5 plaguebearers

    8 screamers
    8 screamers

    Tzeentch prince
    -gaze
    Tzeentch prince
    -gaze
    Tzeentch prince
    -gaze

Basically inam trying to play off of all the foot armies out there. Great unclean one is awesome at not dying, and with the three princes they can form a giant "tag team of monsters to control an area

I have speed for the elves in the form of fiends and screamers, and if i plop down all my plague bearers on my objectives im pretty sure i can focus fire on their"s and win out on objectives. And of course i have 18 flamers for general havok

And the 2000 point version will have these upgrades, and I plan to play a Test game for both lists on Sunday against Random People...But im gonna watch their Games be for I play them and make sure their playing hard armies, and that the players are Razor Sharpe with their Gaming....As much as I love Clubbing Baby Seals (which I do quite Often) I want Experience Players...Cause I want to Keep a Name for myself in the Gaming Community

-I will upgrade both the Screamer units to 9

-Tzeentch Chariot with Breath, and Master of Sorcery.

Was wondering how this list actually went, especially with the 2 big units of flamers. I am looking at running something similar and was looking for some feedback to help decide whether or not to purchase another 3 boxes of flamers or to stay with 2 units of 10 pinkies that are currently in the list.....

    Warhammer 40k Armies: Chaos Daemons
    Bloodbowl Teams: Mean Machine (Dwarves)

I played two games with the List so Far...havent gotten a Chance to get back out with it, but Im going back to my Gaming Store This sunday to Try it out some more

-First game was against Dark Eldar. We played 1850.

His list was somewhere along the lines of:

    two venoms with Warriors
    two Boats with Warriors
    3 Ravagers
    two larger units of jetbikes
    a Large Pack of Beasts
And some other Goodies that I cant Remember..it was last sunday, bad memory

The PlagueBearers did nothing except give up easy Kill Points...We played purge the alien. The Princes also did nothing except give up kill Points...But the Gaze on them Helped Dropped two Venoms...but in Return Poison Shots finished the princes. The Great unclean one I dropped Directly in the Center of their Army...Mostly as a Distraction, and to Charge anything that Was dropped out of vehicle...I know I know, poision Shots....but with a 4++ and the FNP he actually survived a round of Shooting, and Got my a Kill Point. The Flamers were my MVP...Each turn they were dropping a Vehicle, so all together I was given roughly 7 kill points from the flamers by dropping vehicles...I did destroy all his vehicles...If I remember correctly the Game was a Tie for Kill Points

-Second game was against Space Wolves 1850

    His List was Solid:

    Wolf Lord on foot
    Priest
two Grey hunter packs with LazorBAcks
    Grey Hunter Pack in rhino
    DreadNaught
    Scouts
LandRaider with Lots of BloodClaw Puppies inside
    two Long Fang Packs
and a unit of two Speeders, or it might have been two units of 1 speeder

This Game was also Purge the Alien....w/e...The Plaguebearers were actually usefull this game...One unit of PlagueBearers attacked a Long Fangs Squad and held it off for pretty much the entire Game. another PlagueBearer Squad held off some Scouts. The Deamon Princes were the Mvp this Game...Combined they took out a grey hunter Pack, a Rhino, a Dreadnaught, a Wolf Lord (Smash attacks), and a Long Fangs Squad....All their Shooting was focus on the Shiny Flamers and Screamers and Forgot they had a pack of Monsters walking Among their Ranks. The Great Unclean one got in the Way of a Landraider full of BloodClaws with a Priest...He attempted to attack the Great Unclean one...but str 4 Attacks were still wound on 6's and he held his ground and did not give up any Points......The Flamers were obliterated and did nothing...and the Screamers attacked two different LAzorBAcks and Stopped them, and then they were nuetered by angry Puppies with Bolters and Combined Shooting from other Sources. I won The Game with I think it was roughly 9-11 points to his 5-6

All in all I really Enjoyed the List...I wasnt Relying on FateWeaver, and Nothing in the Army had to reply on Other sources to make sure that they held their own....I Am Starting To feel that 6th edition has given us a lot of Power...what made both games go by so smooth though was the 3+ to reserves...They really Helped make sure that I was stable on the battleField

My friend is planning on running a similar list with an exalted chariot of slaanesh. (he plays against a lot of nids and blob guard) but he is gonna run grounded princes with gaze mainly because our gaming group hasn't embraced flyers...yet. Also wondering which warlord trait tree you usually roll for your Great Unclean one?
