    First, your characters.

The Dark Thanes of the Chaos Dwarves are, in one sense, a relic of the Ravening Hordes: They have Ld10, and that's on a Hero character. In my opinion, this is perfect, as one can have a kitted-out Thane keeping your lines intact, and a nigh-Chaos Lord running about with the Bull Centaurs.

    I'd adive the following:

Bull Centaur Lord - Xpts (can't remember/check the cost now and TGUO doesn't have CD)
    No mundane equipment
Black Hammer of Hashut, Armour of the Furnace, Enchanted Shield

    Dark Thane - 114pts
    Great Weapon
Armour of Gazrakh, Ganutlets of Bahzrakk the Cruel

Otherwise, it seems like a fine, if somewhat overly artillery-centric but otherwise pretty standard Dwarven list. (I'd do away with at least one Death Rocket and get some Hobgoblin Bowmen if you wish to keep the gunline aspect in the army.)
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
    Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
    Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD

Ha Ha Ha i beat u to it :p
Anyway a great list although with all of that artillery you might have a hard time protecting it against fast moving armies. So i would say drop a death rocket and add some more bull centuars because a unit of 5 will whittle away pretty fast. Anyway good list mate...
Are we really the only CD players here?
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
    He was....The Warrior Poet.......

Yes, I bunged up the points cost for the iron lord (200 is an ogre tyrant ). Fixing it has freed up that trapped 80 points.

Alright, I've come to see the folly of three death rockets. Teron, your suggestion of hobgoblin archers is fitting and I'll take it so thank you! With the eighty points from the scrapped death rocket and the other eighty from the lord foul up I can get a unit of thirty two bow-armed hobgoblins (no command models, unless I tone down unit size some. The champion doesn't seem worth the points). Conversely, I could get two units of, say, fourty hobgoblins with hand weapons for the same cost. They'd get shot to pieces but would be two more targets for my opponent and ten would have to fall from each unit for a panic test. On the other hand, I could take warrior poet's suggestion and use the points to add more bull centaurs. I've added one anyway so the unit is seven strong with the hero (remember, that's unit strength fourteen total ).

Also, about the Gauntlets, I didn't want to use them lest I suffer some terrible streak of luck and kill a number of my own dwarfs (small units, remember). I've seen Archaon do the same thing to devestating effect.

I've made a few other minor changes to my list.

First, for goodness' sake, drop the Biting Blade. It is, frankly, useless. a Great Weapon, especially on an I3 Dwarf, will do much better.

And... You might want to split the Hobbo unit into several smaller ones. Makes maneuvering and getting all the lil' greenies to shoot much easier.

And, get an Enchanted Shield for the Iron Lord.

About the Biting Blade, I was just filling a points hole really.

Anyway, forget everything I've put up here . After much deliberation last night, I've reworked the list to what I wanted originally, a no-knobgoblin army. My new (and final, I think) list is intended to maximize the number of dwarfs on the table whilst still keeping my artillery. Bull centaurs and their hero are both scrapped for more warriors. The only remaining problem is I'm three points over and the hero's great axe is the easiest way to fix it.

Most players wouldn't mind such, tournament organizers are another matter entirely.

EDIT: a nice, traditional Dwarven list, by the way ^_^ (apart from the Sorcerers, that is)

Simple, effective, and hopefully deadly (tournament organizers be damned ).Thanks for the help Teron (and you too poet). Getting back into the game after a four-year hiatus is frazzling my mind. I'm just glad I didn't have so much trouble making an Ogre list.
