This is the start of a new series, that will hopefully bring new ideas and tactics to the forums. Each week, a new topic will be posted up about a different unit in the army book. This gives you your chance to discuss the unit to its fullest. So, please leave your comment!
This week's topic is - Sneaky Gits
Do you use these? How useful are they? Is poison that useful on a WS3, S3 I2 A2 unit?
I find myself using my special slots for orcs and artillery (such as 2x2 bolt throwers, orc big 'uns and whatnot) so I rarely have the slots available to field some sneaky gits.
Their low leadership means that they don't work well as a "shock troop". If they were skirmishers it would be more managable. Perhaps it's got its uses to defend your gunline against S3 T3 troops (like harpies) but I don't find 'em as useful as 50pts of hobgoblin archers.
