Would it be ok to use normal Dwarf Models to Proxy Chaos Dwarf models? Of course, You would still use Bull-centaurs and perhaps the warmachines, but everything else would be replaced with models from other ranges (Hogoblins - Goblins, etc).
Probably not in a Rogue Trader tournament, but I use normal dwarves for Chaos Dwarf warriors, night goblins for Hobgoblins, centigors for Bull Centaurs, and I'm thinking of using the Hellcannon for my Earthshaker Cannon.

You could use normal dwarfs, with chaos warrior sheilds and a evil paint job.
A Promise to a dead man means nothing.
Yeah i think it would be dicey even if you did convert the. I dunno if youve ever seen chaos dwarf models but that are absolutely NOTHING like dwarf models except in height..
yes i have seen the models so u need the hats right you need big mexican hats right make those if you want make them out of fabric
And if you use the
hellcannon - earth shaker cannon
night goblins - hobgoblins
dwarf warriors with mexican hats - chaos dwarf warriors
dwarf lord - chaos dwarf lord
centigors - bull centaurs

I have actually seen it work on one of GW's web sites. I had struggled to remeber where it was and the new Conflict tickets on sale reminded me of where I saw it at. It was a 2003 conflict and they took all kinds of pictures of it. I found the link if you all want to see it. It was very bright army to say the least. Very cool
You could easily just use plain goblins and dwarfs, but with no conversion work it's going to make it very hard to get "theme points," as your army will look like a dwarf army painted dark colours. They are easy to convert. Check out the conversion threads and my gallery or PM me for details. As for goblins, there is no way they will ever pass for hobgoblins, because hobgoblins are about human-sized, humpbacked and have a pot belly. They also have smaller noses and deeper set faces. If you convert them to be taller and have pot bellies, you could get away with it though.
