I'm going to use small super-magnets in my terminators and their arms. That way I can add whatever weapons I need for every given battle. Sure it's expensive, but not as expensive as buying 1 terminator for every weapons choice. Using magnets on the icons are also very good ideas.

Consider that the gauntlets of ultramar, horus' lightning claws etc have bolters built into them.
Incidentally, the gauntlets of ultramar are(if I remember right) artifacts taken from a chaos champion.

Hey, just write the fluff around the item. Remember that almost half of the Priesthood of Mars turned with Horus. many of these might still be alive, sustained by daemonic powers. Guess what wonders they can build.

I'd plump for a Sorcerer Lord myself - all you miss out on stat-wise is a point of WS and you gain the loverly new psychic powers.

The only problem with the new Lord model is that it's in terminator armour.

Basically you lose the option to transport your lord in a Rhino, give him wings, a bike or even a Daemon steed.

On the big bonus side though he can deep strike with pin-point accuracy with the new Icon Rules.

Another bonus is that you can have multiple lords in your army. :party2:

I would like them to produce a Lord kit in power armour but I guess we'll never see that.

Ah well conversion time ahoy then!
I have to agree here. I have the previous metal termi lord still in the blister. I think I'll make him a standard Lord, and then later buy the Lord kit and make it a sorcceror. But I whish they would ditch the old metal lord in PA and give us a kit, or at least another static model. Or add a static PA sorcceror model.

But if you look at the bits you get with the CSM sprues, you can make a pretty decent PA sorcceror, with the helmet, spikes and such.

The only reason I brought it up is because you have never been able to carry any other weapons while equipped with LC's; even back in 2nd where things were pretty free wheeling.

I really have no problem with it, now my CC HQ can shoot too.

I think it might be a type-o that you can take LCs and other weapons. If you look on the Lord wargear entry you'll see that the lord in terminator armour may replace his twin-linked bolder and power weapon for a pair of LCs. Wouldnt it be more suitable that a strong termie lord can take heavier and more elaborate weapons?
