I took a box of standard Chaos Marines and a few left over berzerker bits, then added some metal demon wings I got from the Reaper line (like, half the price of bitz ordering the possessed backpacks).

I have the current Raptor minis and I do like them. What really hate is the flames commin' otta their feet mounting them flimsilly to the base.

I love the both ideas idea.

With regards to the second idea...

The bezerker legs look terrible on models on the ground, but on models which are flying they tend to look a lot better.

Only one set of the running Khorne Legs is wonky. The running legs with the right foot up is perfectly fine looking.




Nutting wrong with those legs at all.

The other running legs are great for conversions.

Alas, thier painting is on hold. I have other minis in greater painted demand. Namely this little lady. who, incidentally, runs around with those raptors laying waste to enemy scoring units. I'd say they were second in line, but I've got a unit or two of CSM that only lack a couple troopers to be completely painted...

Nice conversions, everyone! I recently took all my Raptors apart and am replacing the old jump packs with Possessed wings (I bought a whole bunch of them on Ebay for a very reasonable price) and am planning on dremeling off some metal to replace their heads with Night Lords heads.

The left one looks like the normal CSM champion powerfist arm cut and repositioned at the elbow. Im guessing the right one is the assualt marine powerfist with the possesed 'fingers' on it.

Am I right?

Lol Karmoon, I really love the zerker giving the finger.

It's at the perfect elevation too. It's not pointing at the other models, he's kinda giving the finger to the opposing player

Additionally, I really like the fact that while all his mates are running he's purposely stopped for the sole purpose of insulting someone. ^_^
