I thought doom bolt was a nice one, but after i turned this really hard inquisitor guy into a chaos spawn, i was thinking more towords gift of chaos. I do like wind of chaos, good for killing marines. So which do you take?

also another question: can warp focus increse the range of minor psychic powers?

Wind of chaos is very nice...
Can reduce most models to dust/slime/gold/blood or whatever...
I have used it a couple of times, it's just fantastic how those naughty termies just dissappear...

I occasionaly like mass mutation. in a situation where your fighting big numbers (like orks) its good to get an extra attack or strength 5. and what army do you have that your using a sorceror

I would have to go w/ the Wind of Chaos and/or Mass Mutation. And for the Warp Focus question it adds d6" to the range of a psy. power, but it doesn't work on the Wind of Chaos.(look at Chaos Codex on pg.19 to learn more of psy. powers)

I've had this idea for some time now.

When facing horde armies, equip your sorcerer with Gift of Chaos. Target one of the little horde beasties (i face Tyranids alot).
And with a bit of luck *BLAMMO* you have a spawn in the swarm! :lol:

That should help 'ya out, if nothing else it will be worth it seeing the face of your opponent.

Only bad thing about wind of chaos is that it is a template weapon...

IMO equip your sorcerer according to what you are fighting.
Assaulty armies can benefit greatly from the Mass mutation power.
Shooty armies: Doombolt/wind of chaos
Sneaky armies: Gift of chaos.

Then theres ofcourse all the God-specific powers.
Does your army follow a particular God Spikey?
