Other than that though he sounds pretty cool.
T5, I think you mean .

The hidden weakness of Blood Frenzy would be your opponents' ability to control your prince. This was mildly an issue for berzerkers in 3rd edition chaos. I mean, it's really not *that* much of a drawback, but it's something.

If you add up all the upgrades, then the price for this custom stat line is around 250 points.

I have now play tested him and found out that the finnal cost should and will be 300 pts.

*runs back on page one and edit......*

Wolf Guard: i have thought abour adding more drawbacks. but when me and the guy i play tested it whit tried him out, we found out that the little draw back was acctualy a big one, as i always rolled 1's and 2's, and he controlled him for the most part of the game but he was worth his points. in the end hi killed all my opponents tanks and a whole lot more.

in the end he got killed by 2 plasma cannon shoots and 2 vindicators.

Now for a new datasheet that i have created for the same campaign. as i did Shraider.

CrowdBreaker Vindicator: 150 pts

The crowdbreaker vindicator, is a modification of the normal vindicator that are made for killing wast numbers of troops and be abel to destroy heavy fortified buildings and tanks.

AC
BS FA SA RA
.4....13....12...11

Equipment:
- Hull-Mounted Demolisher cannon
- 2x Sponsor mounted Havy Flamers
- 2x Pintel mounted Havoc Launchers
- Dozer Bade.

Fuel supply:
Enemies shooting at the Crowdbreaker Vindicator recives a +1 on the damage table.
In addition if a 6 is rolles it will explode 2d6 instead of the normal 1d6.

Where are the heavy flamers mounted? Sponsons? I priced this special vindi at 165. Although, given the fact that a vindicator cannot fire both an ordinance weapon & its other weapons, this datasheet seems fairly balanced even at 150.

I like the Vindicator idea. Great defensive set-up to ward off enemys coming close to the tank. The only suggestion I would make is a set-up like that may be a bit crazy and dangerous with all the explosive ammunition and fuel for the flamers so maybe enemys get +1 on the damage table? Seems a bit more Chaosy to have it as dangerous to the crew as to the enemy.

Ive been toying with an idea for a fluffy retinue for a Chaos Lord for a while but havent got it quite worked out yet.

I've been putting together a large campaign for a while now, amd have written special campaign Characters for all the armies. I'll post my Chaos guys a few at a time.

Here's Papa Nurgle's guys:

Arzufel, Plague Champion

Arzufel is a Champion of Nurgle, and a master gunner. His Plague Marine squad specialise in shooting their prey to pieces, rather than engaging in close combat. With well practised moves, he leads his troops in a relentless march across the battlefield, moving down the enemy in a continuous blaze of bolter fire.

Arzufel - Power Fist, Plasma Pistol, Combi-Bolter-Flamer (Bolter has Necrotic Bolts), Personal Icon [WS4, BS5, S4, T4(5), W2, I3, A3, Ld10, Sv3+] {Universal Special Rules: Fearless, Feel No Pain, Slow and Purposeful, Relentless}

Arzufel’s Icon counts as a Chaos Icon for Chaos Daemons of Nurgle. His Necrotic Bolts are S4, AP5, Poison and Wound on 4+.

Arzufel must be fielded as the Plague Champion of a Plague Marine squad. Except for Arzufel, all members of the squad without Plasma weapons, must replace their Bolters with twin-linked Bolters at a cost of +2pts per model. Arzufel’s squad have the USRs Slow and Purposeful and Relentless.

Arzufel costs 105 points, and can not be equipped with any additional items.

Gorgor, Nurgle Champion

To Gorgor, life is just a carnival. Papa Nurgle’s carnival. Gorgor sees himself as a herald, bringing the word of the carnival to the billions of lost souls out there. However there seem to be some folk who don’t get it. They try to get in his way. So he takes a different sermon of Papa’s to them. Virtually living on their bikes, Gorgor and his troupe are happiest deep in the heart of the enemy. If they won’t come to Papa, Papa will come to them. Especially when he sees fit to send Plaguebearers, or even bigger Daemons to help illustrate his point of view.

Gorgor – CSM Bike, Bolt Pistol, Power Fist, Personal Icon [WS4, BS4, S4, T4(6), W2, I4, A3, Ld10, Sv3+] {Universal Special Rules: Feel No Pain}

Gorgor’s Icon counts as a Chaos Icon for Chaos Daemons of Nurgle. He must be fielded as the Champion of a Chaos biker squad which has the Icon of Nurgle. The squad may be upgraded to Plague Marine Bikers at a cost of +8pts each, giving them Feel No Pain and Blight Grenades, and giving them the USRs Fearless and Skilled Riders. Gorgor needs to pay for this upgrade too.

Gorgor costs 95 points, and can not be equipped with any additional items.

In Apocalypse games, Gorgor’s squad have the Asset ‘Strategic Redeployment’. If they all move more than 18” when redeploying, they count as having used Turbo-Boost.

Aristolon’s Death Guard Kill Team

Aristolon is a favoured Champion of Nurgle. His squad received their name from Typhus, as a humerous reward for their prowess in battle. Aristolon has trained his squad to scout ahead and attempt to penetrate the forward battle lines of Nurgle’s enemies. The Death Guard Kill Team are equally dangerous to almost all opponents, and have the capability to take on most enemy units.

Aristolon’s Death Guard Kill Team consists of 6 Plague Marines and Aristolon, Plague Champion. The Plague Marines are as per page 97 of the latest Chaos Codex, and are also armed with Melta Bombs.

The squad can choose any of the Options from page 97. Aristolon must be fielded as listed here, and may not choose any of the Character options from the Codex. The squad may have a Rhino, but if so, may not Infiltrate. They can Outflank.

Aristolon, Plague Champion: Psyker, Personal Icon, Plasma Pistol, Combi-Bolter (Plasma), Power Fist, Frag & Krak, Blight Grenades {WS4, BS5, S4, T4(5), W2, I4, A3, Ld10, Sv3+}. He has Psychic Powers Nurgle’s Rot and Gift of Chaos.

The squad has the following Universal Special Rules: Infiltrate, Stealth, Fearless, Feel No Pain.

In Apocalypse Games, Aristolon’s Death Guard Kill Team lose their Universal Special Rule: Infiltrate, and gain Scout.

Aristolon’s Death Guard Kill Team costs 300 points + any Options and Transport taken

I'd be interested to see what you think.

For the past 6 months my gaming group and I have been playtesting a "mini-dex" for my Soul Reapers Chaos Marines. Here is one of my custom SC's, he has been playtested in at least 20 games and seems balanced to my gaming group. I have three more Special Characters written but they haven't been completely tested for balance. I will add them once they have been extensively tested.

Soul Reapers Special Character: Titus the Butcher

The Daemon Prince known as Titus the Butcher started out as the second in command of the World Eaters seventeenth Grand Company. He was and is still the armored fist of Lord Krüg, when there is something impossible to do Titus is unleashed to resolve the problem.

Titus earned the title the Butcher and ascended to Princedom on the planet Lambosia on the far Eastern Fringe. It was during a campaign to reclaim one of the Salmora artifacts, that Titus was tasked with holding the Star Phantom Space Marines back while the Sorcerer Xusia preformed the rituals to locate the artifact. Titus lead an elite unit of Reavers from Lord Krügs handpicked Terminator bodyguard into a mountain pass to bock the path of the Star Phantoms. During the fight the Reavers were whipped out and Titus was left surrounded by the lackeys of the Emperor. He had already been mortally wounded, but refused to succumb to his wounds and fail Lord Krüg. Titus grabbed a second power sword from one of his fallen comrades and proceeded to charge headlong into the remaining Star Phantoms. When the dust settled the Star Phantoms were either dead or routing from the field, Titus collapsed knowing that his task was complete.

As he lay there dying he heard the whispers of the Dark Gods. They were pleased with his dedication and the carnage he had done to his foes. They offered him untold power and a chance to fight again exacting his revenge on the Imperium for the greater glory of Chaos. He accepted the offer and rose up as a mighty Daemon Prince of Chaos.

Since his ascension Titus is always found leading his troops from the front, rushing forward headlong into the enemy, he has been known to outpace the warbands transports and tanks. Unlike most Daemon Princes Titus has not been gifted with wings or psychic powers, instead he uses his powerful legs to rush across the battlefield with insane speed. The fusing of his flesh with his armor and his favor with the Dark Gods has made him extremely hard to kill, he is capable of shrugging off wound that would banish other Daemon Princes back to the warp.

Titus the Butcher
Daemon Prince: 200 points

War Gear:
Personal Icon
The Butchers Blade

Special Rules:
Fearless
Eternal Warrior
5+ invulnerable save
Feel no Pain
Fleet

The Butchers Blade is the massive sword carried by the Daemon Prince Titus. His brutality is know and feared throughout the Eastern Fringe. Titus can usually be found standing atop a pile of corpses in the middle of the enemy lines. He is very good at cutting large groups of his foes down with one mighty swing of the Butchers Blade.

To represent this in the game Titus may give up his normal attacks to make single strength 5 attack against all enemy non-vehicle models in base contact. This is an all or nothing attack with a single die roll to hit; if there are multiple WS’s involved the roll to hit is against the highest WS. If successful roll to wound each model in base to base contact with Titus.

I appreciate all constructive feedback.

Thanks,
Jim

Tyrant
Ever since the fall of Horus the Chaos Gods have been grooming a new champion. Tyrant counts as a Chaos Lord.

WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
5 5 4 4 3 5 3 10 3+

Special Rules
Fearless, Deep Strike, Independent Character
Chosen of the Gods - Once per game Tyrant may call upon the power of the Gods to turn him into an unstoppable killing machine. You may add D6 to any two stats.
Warp Protection - The chaos gods have learn from their mistakes with Horus and will protect Tyrant until he is truly ready to destroy the Emperor. Tyrant is immune to Instant Death and has a 3+ Invulnerable Save

War Gear
Twin Daemon Swords
- Two swords have been gifted to Tyrant and these swords are said to guide him on his journey. In combat Tyrant counts as having Two Lightening Claws, however one sword is of Khorne (adds plus D3 attacks in the first round of combat) and Slaanesh (inflicts instant death) and they do not get along. Until Tyrant learns to control them he must take a leadership test each turn, if failed he will become subjected to the Rage USR.
Wings

I'm thinking the points cost should be somewhere around 215 - 235 any thoughts ?

this character looks sweet. i got some point i want you to consider:

Chose of the gods: make him take a ld test if he fails he suffers a perils of the warp attack.

Twin Daemon swords: althought the idea is awesome. to represent the battle between slaanesh and khorn, not by giving him frenzy. but instead if he fails the LD test then he suffers a wound whit invunarable save allowed.

i would start whit pricing him at 300 pts.

just my 2 cents

I would like to get your feedback on this char:

Its a Former Chaos Termi Sorc that is a follower of Ahriman, that is slowely mutating into a Demon Prince.. (he tries to hide it, so i gonna build a levitating Chaos termi sorc with his arms spread out like he's just about to change; of course with all the size reqs for a DP)

Ignis 215pt :
WS..BS..S...T...W...I...A...Ld..Sv
7.....5...6...5....4....5..4...10..3+

Equip:
Wings (model will levitate)
Mark of Tzeentch
Familiar
Bolt of Change
Doombolt
counts as armed with a single close combat weapon and the combi bolter for Boc and DB

He gets two shots with eather BoC or DB in each shootingphase.

Rules
Monsterous Creature, Fearless, +4 invo save (inkl MoT), Eternal warrior

---------------
Here why i think this char is fair and balanced..
he can use the eather the two BoC which he pays for or two DB he pays for one and doesnt use the points for the BoC in that case and he has the familiar to justify that he uses that as well..

the rest is pretty much standard DP..
