    So did I. I just love to see the disbelief on my opponent's face when I tell him that "all those wounding hits I just successfully saved are being turned back on your guys, and you have no armour save against them.....hur hur hur!". And that's after Lucius has already smacked several of the enemy anyway.

    @bliss-giver :

    I tried out Abaddon a couple of times, and on paper he seems really nasty. I just didn't find him as effective as Lucius, and he's also considerably more expensive.

    I understand what you mean, sometimes he doesn't seem to do a lot, although other times he has killed vast numbers of the enemy.
    I often overlook that fact about the extra wounds by lucius, thanks for bringing it up.

    So far I've only used him in one game against a Nurgle Daemon army. Him and a DP. I didn't do to bad, in fact I think it was my 1st "tatical" win. Never got to turn the wounds back on him though to busy throwing out assault shots and "power" flamer shot into his plague bearers.

    So these are HQ's... Daemon Princes are no brainers... A lot find them undercosted, but when they read our codex they realize, oh thats why he's undercosted 'cause you guys dont have any hidden combos possible..) any way... DP's, I got Bile because of how he looked, and Field him at times when they find my army to cheesy... I have moods when I play, there will be times that I field Abbadon, amongst all Characters not HQ's Abbadon is great... Initative 6 Str 8 attacks.. he always does good when I field him.. Normally I go on an all assault list with him, Bile is a relief, in a sense that you can't control his power and yes he isn't an MEQ killer, he doesn't even have an Invul save and can die instantly) Kharn I have to try him still, but I always found lucius a drag, but I haven't tried him yet... With your experiences maybe I can try him out... Oh by the way, when I field a Character it's just one of those days when you just want to have fun and carry a "big gun" to the field and watch how your opponent say "for real he can do that".... hahaha.. Lucius, seems to be a big upset to them..) hahaha... Serious games, I'd go DP usually.

    I love rolling a 6 for Abbadon's attacks, hitting most of them, wounding almost all of those, then telling him that I can re-roll failed ones, to wipe out a whole squad plus a character.
    Also, he seems to be much more resilient than his profile suggests, I've had every weapon from the opposing army fire at him, over two turns, and fail to wound him once, he then cut down some terminators, marneus calgar and a chaplin, before my opponent decided to mostly ignore him, and I failed two consecutive dangerous terrain tests, and failed two saves to bolters from a combat squad.
