Is Daemonic Possession woth it for tanks?

Isn't it a lot to pay for when your BS is getting reduced to 3 on a Predator?

Do any of you use it on anything but Rhinos?

I would love to use Daemonic Possession on Dreadnoughts but that's not possible anymore... Actually Dreadnoughts seem boring to me in the current codex.

Most of the time you'd take them on a Vindicator. The 1 less inch correction from the scatter is a small price to pay for being able to always fire the pieplate goodness!

Its actually very good on Land Raiders as well. Being as all your weapons are Twin-Linked you offset the BS3 by doubling your odds, and being able to ignore stunned and shaken results means you will always fire and deliver your cargo more efficiently. I wouldnt put it on a predator at all, but like he said, Vindi and a Raider... Sure.
Dreads suck in this dex, but only because of the Crazed rule. You make them CC oriented they are very reliable, you just cant get them where they need to be to do anything; at least til the next book comes out when you get Drop Pods... Then your see something. Personally I like the idea of whacky dreads going all Loose cannon. It reminds me of Orks in 2nd...

The unit using the transport is still effected by the shaken/stunned results.
Unless I read the rules wrong, they wont be able to disembark, but the twin linked thing is a good point.

They can still disembark, they just cant shoot, and since it doesnt have any ports to shoot from it doesnt matter.

Yes I also thought about the Vindicator but not the Land Raider. Just a shame not to give my Predators the upgrade when they're so heavily converted .

Isn't it far out rumours about a new Chaos codex or just Legion codex? I mean I would like to get any Chaos codex except the current one but it seems that the rumours are just rumours...

just rumours most likely...all in all CSM works pretty fine and we can take on anyone evenly, there are others that are in a worse way than us...

Oh dont worry bout all that. If you follow the progression of codices, Space Marine- Other- Space Marine- Other... You will soon see that, while it will probly be the last one made, there are only a few power armoured codices left. Sisters, Dark Angels, Templars, and Chaos. And the last list of books that I saw said DA were after Necrons, so there is one down. Id bet you probly have a little over 2 years left. And I agree that the Chaos dex has tools, but it is a very boring dex. Yes you can field a lovely FNP list, or a Lash/Blitz, but you really have to spam it to be effective to all comers.

As said, it is good for vindicators and raiders as their blast and twinlinked negate its negative effects. It is also useful on rhinos to keep them moving, but for a predator, it isn't worth it, as you will miss out on accuracy, and they aren't percieved as such threats.
