I mentioned in another topic that it might be worth starting a Celtic clan, not the football team but the actual race. So I thought that I might as well start a topic and see if it will start of.
So what does it take to be a member of the celtic clan I here you ask. Well the most obvious way to qualify is by actually being Irish, Welsh, Scottish or from Brittany. We will also take members who are decendents of Celtic nations, the infamous "Granny Rule"
(John Aldridge and others could do it, so why can't we)
Well what do you guys think, will we try this out or will I leave it sink to the mud at the bottom of the Clubs and Clans board?
Is being married to a Welsh woman enough or will being a former resident count
God man you fairly brought this thread back from the dead, I had even forgotten about it. I think maybe there is not enough interest in this one to make it a long term thing. (You can never trust those scots or welsh to back anyone up )
But we will see how things go now this is back on the radar a little bit. A former resident you say, where did you live?
Errr, I listen to celtic frost. Is that good enough?

i got red hair, that count? and if you went back along me mums line, i'm probably a descendent of the tuatha de danaan. which, depending on which way you look at it, means that i'm not a NATIVE celt, but an invader from the north. i also got a bit of heritage which goes back to the dal riadans (who are scots, well actually scottish/irish) but the point is i've got a fair bit of celtish blood in me as well as a fare bit of frisian. which traces back to the supposed indo-european race, which is also the mother race of the celts.
does that count?
