Good stuff all. I like the Tau ship, -T - very clean.

The whole exodites-on-grav platforms thing seems to come from one of the DIY lists. I personally don't like the look of chariots, but I can't see why they shouldn't be allowed. I'm more inclined to use medium-sized monsters, but why not?

Anyhow, here's the main thing I'm working on right now. It's going to be a marine commander in terminator armour, with lightning claws. Given the Victorian theme and the lightning/electricity, it seemed like a natural choice.

I like that a lot buddy, kinda looks like a "Mr.Hyde" style thing...
The 'claws' are probably my favorite bit, they are absolutely spot on.

I'm gonna have to talk about me for a bit agian (I know I know...), I just finished work on converting my dread (well, nearly finished... teeny bit of milliputting left), I wonder if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions?
    **linky**
I'm pretty happy with him, gonna try out some freehand stuff (icons, text (his name "Ixion" will be written across his right body section), and some of those cool trompe-l'oeil damage effects (this sort of thing: *linky*), and see how it goes).

Anyway. How's everyone elses stuff going? And, have you finished your Defiler yet?
Hel, where are you? Not seen you in a while, get back here!

Mr. Hyde? More like Frankenstein, man! I really like the model, Steerpike. Would like to see a finished pic!

Nothing new here... trying to get a squad out before too long.

Thanks for all the support everyone! I'm glad to see that original ideas are allowed to flourish, and there are some great ideas on here! My question is what Eldar army list should I use? I've never played Eldar before, so I am a ubernoob about them, although I am loving the Ulthwe craftworld, but they have a real lack of Aspects and vehicles. I'm afraid that may become a bit o' a hinderance. What type of effect will it have on my Sith army? Any suggestions? As always, thx ahead of time

The new (current) Eldar Codex doesn't include craftworld specific army-lists, instead it has several options that move units about the force organization chart if they are maxed out (ie: Wraithguard become troops if you take a full squad).
So, you shouldn't have any trouble making a sith style list from the standard list

I think it depends on how you want your sith to be represented really. While the Eldar psychic powers are not outwardly agressive (well, not the Farseer's), you should be able to make an Emperor-style psychic attack squad (Farseer w/doom+fortune (maybe even eldritch storm, though that is a bit rubbish), warlock bodyguards w/enhance and the one that gives them a heavy flamer (can't remember what it's called for the life of me...).
An Autarch would make quite a good Darth Vader-style combat dedicated sith lord, etc etc.

If you want some more specific advice, go have a look in the Eldar forums, they're pretty friendly guys

Farseer or Autarch = Sith Lord.

Warlocks and Howling Banshees = Sith Apprentices.

Guardians, Dire Avengers = Storm or generic Troopers.

Other Aspect Warriors = specialised Troopers.

    Tanks = tanks.

That's how I'd go about it, most likely. I'd run a list kind of like this, maybe:

    Autarch with Power Weapon, Mandiblasters
10x Guardians with Scatter Laser, Warlock with Conceal
10x Guardians with Scatter Laser, Warlock with Conceal
8x Howling Banshees in Wave Serpent
8x Howling Banshees in Wave Serpent
    2x Falcon Grav-Tanks
    8x Warp Spiders

Something funky like that. Mix and match, have fun!

This is going to sound odd, but bear with me. About 2 years ago, a doom-style game came out in which you fought aliens who looked a lot like the Death Korps, possibly across time via some sort of time machine. Can anyone remember what it was called? I think "war" was in the title, but that probably doesn't help much! I was looking at the forgeworld site, and it struck me - and now it's really irritating that I can't recall what the game was called. I have a feeling it was a PC thing.

Weird question, I know, but when these things get stuck in your head it's very irritating!

The only Death Korps-esque FPS game I can think of is Kill Zone....

Thank you! That was really bugging me. Goodness knows why, but my brain works like that sometimes. I've been thinking about some adversaries for the space victorians, and something like them would work well. I can't really afford a squad of guard just to use them as dead bodies, but I'm sure I could convert something. Cheers anyhow!

Vostroyans look very similar, albeit a slightly more Russian-esque feel rather than the Nazi-esque feel that the Death Korps bring. A bit cheaper than FW models, too.
