Milestone... after playing a variety of wargames for over 30 years, and after one year on LO, I am now a Veteran

Also, I survived another thunderstorm along the E Coast... I think SE Qld got the less and Sydney got the more

So, you've got thunderstorms, and over here in SA we're in the beginnings of a heat wave.

A heat wave. In freaking November. I think we need to have a look at our seasons; Autumn and Spring are becoming rather redundant.

The funny thing is it mostly annoys me because we have all the blinds and curtains shut, and thus I don't have any light in which to paint!

Our weather has been going crazy in Adelaide. Insanely hot one day, cold and raining the next. I'm calling it Port Power weather due to its complete inconsistency.

This week is going to be bad... It was hot enough just this morning and we have a whole week of 37 now.

I know what u mean about Adelaide weather... I was down there last week for 6 days (my family live there) and temp went from 23 one day to 39 the next then back to 21 overnight

Crazy allright... thats one reason that I moved from Adelaide to Brisbane

Yeah ours too its so hot ive gone a little nuts and I have a 2000 word essay due in 36 hours and ive done 200 so yeah stressed.

ps. what with this thanks stuff and why don’t I have any?

I believe it only applies to the originator of a thread. If you like the thread they started, you can thank them for it. It gives them a little rep for their trouble (and a notification just below their post that they've been thanked, I think)

I thought the rep system was working fine but whatever floats people's boats, I guess. I can't remember the last time I actually started a thread here so it's unlikely to become relevant to me any time soon!

I'm feeling sorry for you fellas over in Adelaide, we here in Melb have had our own little heatwave (As you said, its November, wtf?). Gotta love random aussie weather. I'm predicting we'll get some more of your heat as Melbourne seems to cop whatever comes Adelaides way sooner or later.

Well today was a big day.
Apparently I was a little shaky, and maybe a little pale, and ended up not going back to work afterwards because I couldn't focus on anything else, but today was the first ultrasound.
It's official, I'm definately a father, no doubt, no equivocation...and like most, scared completely poopless.
