Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello all of the Wheel of Time readers out there and welcome to my cause! I have just finished the 11th Book (and most recent) Knife of Dreams, and decided that this fourm needed a Clan! It's structure will be loosley based on the Black Tower and will have the three ranks as follows: Soldier - New commers to the cause of the Dragon Reborn Dedicated - Well trained channelers and feerless when facing the enemys of the Dragon Asha'man - Grizzled veterans of a thousand battles, and powerfull chanelers I will take the rank of M'Hael (old toung for "leader" for all of the newest members) but I am not acting as Mazrim Taim, just merly organizing the forces of the Dragon in LO  All people planning on joining HAVE to have read at least the first book (The Eye of the World). Everyone will start as a Soldier, no matter how may books you've read or how many times (though the more you have the read the easier it makes it to procced through the ranks) To progress in rank to Dedicated I would suggest they not only have read up to at least the Fifth book (Fires of Heaven), but also have a Dedicated attitude. Anyone attempting to join the ranks of the Asha'man should read all the books (all the ones published annyways). They also should put there rank and link to the Clan in there sig. I would also ask members to sprad the word to any otheres they know that share our cause! Eg. Dedicated of the Black Tower Heres the coeding for all the lazy people out there... [INSERT RANK HERE] of the [url="http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/clubs-clans/56377-black-tower-lo.html"]Black Tower[/URL/] Remove the extra backslash on the final URL to complete the link. I am thinking of adding a test for levels to make it harder to progress and make sure that only the most dedicated can reach the level of Asha'man, but for now everyone enters as a Soldier. Also, I'm thinkring of putting a limit on the number of Asha'man (50 I think) and Dedicated (150 if we can get the numbers!) but these may rise if we get enough members. I'll have an up-to-date list of the members and there ranks: M'Hael Blood_Blade Asha'man Kohan Dedicated chemicalcaveman Corianis Zirellion Soldier Frozan Asmodean We are the forces of the Dragon Reborn, and we will be at his side at Tarmon Gai'don!

Rep Power: 35 ![]() | I have to say that, at this moment, i have read every book in the series once; plus (prepare yourself...) 1-10 have each been read an additonal 4 times, while 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 have got an additional to reads on top of that. My excuse is that 1. i read very fast and 2. i was waiting quite a while for 10, and then quite a while for 11. So i would ask your permission to join, M'Hael; though i feel myself as more of a Logain than Asha'man... ![]() |

Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would say you quite easily qualify for Asha'man (read the books 4'ish times )I will have to think about making 'special' names such as Login, and mabe some other more accomplished Asha'man though... Welcome aboard Asha'man kohan! |

Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | We can discuss things that happen in the series (things that you may or may not have understood). Also, we can discuss projects, an example is a Grey Knights force that I'm painting to be darker, and as such represent a force sent by the Black Tower! (although they will more of a Grey rather than a Black) One thing I've always found interesting is the connections you can make between 40 k and the Wheel of Time. You got your good, and your bad. You have your Psykers, and your Channelers. You have men that channel going insane, and the perils of the warp! The list goes on and on... |

Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a question (to get us started...) When Egwene goes from the Aile camps to the rebel sisters (who later appiont her Amyrlin) how does she get there? Not sure if she rediscovers Portals or if she goes 100% into the Dream World... Thanks |

Rep Power: 52 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'll join, I've read the series quite often. As for your question Blood_Blade, Egwene bodily enters the World of Dreams rather than falling asleep and "spirit-walking". The Wise Ones don't like this act and warn her of the dangers, but accept the necessity. One thing which I am wondering about, is who killed Asmodean. I figure it was probably from balefire, but I can't figure out who. Last edited by Corianis; January 31st, 2006 at 11:01. |
