Heya all, think of this as a clan for fluff specialists and general know alls (kinda like the Fluffmasters). Figured that the standard of posting would increase everywhere if we as a group focused upon keeping the Wikipedia articles at their absolute best.

There's no test to be part of this group, just a tingly feeling you'll get for doing the right thing and helping every forum.

It'll save work for the fluffmasters and the mods

Wow someone actually wants to save the moderators work? I updated the Dogs of War articles when someone on these forums asked about Remas.

By all means go for it.

Sounds like a good idea all round. You can count me in.

I just noticed Warhammer: Marienburg is looking a bit pathetic in terms of info, pretty sure there is much more in the Mordheim book and the White Dwarves from the time of Mordheim's release.

Anything would be an improvement on the three lines or so we currently have there.

Of course if you can take care of anything else there will be some rep based rewards in it for you, from me at least.

    This could be added...

"Marienburg was once part of the Empire, but gained independence though a massive transer of gold into the imperial coffers during the reign of Boris Goldgather. Any subsequent attemps to subdue Marienburg and bring it back within rule of the Empire have failed, and today Marienburg remains a fiercely independent city where the Count of Norland, norminally the ruler of Marienburg, is forbidden to return under pain of death"

I can get some info for Marienburg from the WFRP book. Has some good background on that.

Martin- anyone can join just contribute whenever you can.

Also to add- Marienburg is the largest and most prosperous trading city in the Old World. Many call it the City of Gold which alone conveys a good idea of the wealth of this sprawling cosmopolitan city. Nowhere else can be found the vast array of shops selling goods from as far away as the Elven kingdoms of Ulthuan in the west and distant Cathay in the east. The city’s craftsmen represent every skill known to man, and a few others beside, so that it is said in Marienburg there is no activity that cannot be quickly turned to profit.
    *
Many mercantile guilds have their headquarters in Marienburg, most important of all the secretive High Order of Honorable Freetraders which represents the elite amongst mercantile society. This large, rich and ambitious body of men feel themselves shackled by the old order and are eager to seize power for themselves.

The only thing I feel we could do with now are some specifics as to why the city broke away, If there is any more detail than what we have that is.
