    Damn Economy.

I tried out my new white deck today! Containing Serra Avenger (with sord of light and shadowm she is the main win condition), a few good value knights, the sword of light and shadow, and an imri statue. I beat all my opponents.

    Sure!

Here's my current awesome deck. Its been beaten once in 2 days, and 4 lunch breaks.

    2x Fortify
    2x Return To Dust
    1x Desert
    4x Benalish Cavalry
2x Knight Of The Holy Nimbus
    3x Icatacian Javerliers
    1x Amrou Seekers
    1x Children Of Korlis
    2x Cage Of Hands
    1x Field Marshal
    1x Disenchant
    1x Pentarch Ward
    2x Outrider en-Cor
    1x Ivory Giant
    2x Zhalfrin Commander
    1x Serra Avenger
1x Sword of Light And Shadow
    1x Imri Statue
    12x Plains Land

This deck work real fast, getting out creatures quickly, and wearing the opponent down. The win condition is Serra Avenger with Sword Of Light And Shadow, but really anything with the Sword Of Light And Shadow helps make a difference, combiend with lots of attacking creatures. I've got a few things to stop enemy creatures from blocking, a few good destroy enhanctment and artifact destruction spells (one of my best mates always plays artifact decks), and thats about it.

Looks good to me. Flanking is awsome. You said this was a 40 card deck right (too lazy to count)? Once you take it up to 60, you should max out some of the 1x and 2x, as some of them just aren't enough.

    Good luck.

What is the deal with the recent sets. It seems like MTG has a new story line every set. There was like one story line from alpha to apocalypse, or atleast they kept it to one world. Now they seem to be making up new worlds for each. It just is weird strange that in recent days, the longest storyline was the one involving phage, kamahl, akroma, ixidor and jeska, which was 2 sets. Now I don't really care that much since I mostly liked the game, not the fluff, but it does seem like MTG isn't setting up anything that can be continued.

Now it also seems to me that they are running out of ideas. They are doing a ton of retro stuff, like bringing back ice age and now the time spiral and such. These are great because they bring back old favorite cards, but isn't that what the editions were made for?

Well, its partly because the new 'retro' cards can now be played in standard, and I think same with timeshifted.

actually i think the longest, recent, set was the Kamigawa set, since there were like 3-4 diffferent kinks, champions, betrayers, kami, and i think there were a few others

Apparently our clan seems to be degenerating, hopefully I can get this revived with some electro shock pulse storms from the warp. Eh doom?

I'm currently wondering if spending $115 for a case of foils at 25% off is a good deal for cold
snap but apparently I have no gaming connections as of this moment....Hmm would it be
better spent on $139 pair of burton snowboard boots for the 2007 snowboarding season?
