    Perturabo.

Favorite robots? That's a hard one.
Optimus prime or most of the Gundams from Wing (if only because I've not seen the other series)

Optimus Prime is just a really great leader and all round cool character. The wing Gundams, seemed really powerful, and for some reason it never got old seeing them blitz through the inferior suits.

My fave robot is gonna come as a surprise. Vector Prime. The character behind the robot is rather crap but the machine and concept is what i really like. He's made from gears and cogs instead of microchips and pistons! Plus he looks cool as hell with his big F off sword and wings that form a kinda cape!

Ive just watched ghost in the shell 2 and hated it!

At the end of the first one the two minds combine to create a completely new lifeform, but in the second shes back to being just herself. What gives?

Please forgive the vaugeness of the descriptions, i hate spoiling things for other people who havnt watched the movie!

Uncle MAcewind - you may find better response in the anime clan forum actually. tHere's some massive fans of Ghost in the Shell there

Personally, I agree with you 100% though. Shirow Masumune went from being an amazing artist to basically drawing porn and guns. I mean.. honestly.. the amount of detail he draws on his models is a bit sick really.

I can imagine him in his studio telling his model "Bend over more! MORE! ... Spread wider! WIDER I TELL YOU!"..

Fueling segway.. woot, porn... guns... woot!

    guuuuns... poooorn!

You're right though, I have to agree that I didn't like GITS2, it was just way too abstract and too convoluted for my tastes. I like intrigue but that was a bit much.

I have a couple of questions, sinse you guys know more than me about this stuff:

Is Evangelion worth watching? I've heard mixed opinions, but what do you guys think?

What do you treckon the new Transformers film will be like? I personally feel it's a bad idea to revive classics, they usually end up being rubbish.

I've heard that Evangelion was incredible, but according to Karmoon, either you love it or you hate it.

Yeah, I agree, they shouldn't redo the Transformers. Like they say, let sleeping dogs lie.
