Think it would be cool to have a place where people can post what there deck is etc. I will start the ball rolling:
- Elves (my Fav)
Well, I'm not a competitive player by any means, I have only one deck, and it's mostly based on the old Shards Bant set-up (Green, White, Blue - Exalted moving into Lifelink). I play at a game store so I've seen enough to know I'd probably get beasted by most of the kiddoes there, but still, I like the fluff for Bant and the deck is fun to play. Any of you guys play competitively?

Black Creatures+Resurrection is the only deck I play (i.e., it's the only one I've got). I have won two out of three games with it (built it yesterday).
I kind of threw it together, and the first two games it worked exactly as it should. New favorite card? Seizen, Perverter of Truth. Three and two black, 6/5, and as long as it's on the battlefield, every player draws two extra cards and loses two life in their upkeep phase. Coupled with 3 other creatures in play, good luck blocking all 12 damage coming at you each turn. Admittedly, if things had not gone so perfectly, I might have lost that first one. The second game I got him down to 2 life and then brought Seizan in, and he lost as soon as he hit his upkeep (the third game? Nothing worked. I got my butt handed to me, 13-0).
Wow. That was rambling.

I love blue decks more than anything, but my new tournament deck is an artifact deck with the following cards:
Magosi the waterviel (rare land- zendikar)
Contagion Clasp (uncommon artifact- scars preview from Tezz. v Elsp.)
Eldrazi monument (mythic artifact- zendikar)
The basic idea behind this combo is to miss a turn by putting an eon counter onto magosi, then the clasp gives any permanet another counter of a kind already on it. (2 eons for 1 turn).
In my next turn i use the clasp to put an extra counter on magosi, then remove one (leaving a spare on it) to take an extra turn.
In that turn i put another counter on it again, then re-remove it for yet another turn, in essence it stops my opponent completely then i just summon up.

We don't use any of the new sets - our group stopped collecting after the Onslaught block - but my permenantly built decks are as follows:
Comeback (WUB Planeshift heavy) - lots of creatures with come-into-play abilities or cheap costs that return creatures to my hand... I love this deck as once I get going even if I start a turn with no cards in my hand I can still use almost every bit of mana I have access to. This deck is LETHAL, and almost impossible to stop once I get going - basically kill me by turn 10 or go home!
Sacredelicious (BW) - stacked with Nova Clerics, Rotlung Reanimators, Cabal Archon, Edgewalkers and Sigil of the New Dawn, basically when I get going I pay WB+1 in order to sack the NC, steal two life from my opponent, gain a 2/2 zombie and then put the NC back in my hand (which I can play again for free). This deck only loses to fast red decks really, so I've stopped taking it to tournaments.
Bang! (R) - pure land destruction with 4 dingus eggs. Built to pair with a pure black killy deck in a 2 headed giant tournament, it does nicely on it's own (as long as my opponent isn't playing with Mirari's Wake)
Elven Legion (G) - lots and lots and lots of tribal elf cards. Built to be easy to use for my g/f, it has a horrible habit of getting you up to 23145256363 life even if you never block an attacker!
Juggernaught (GR) - lots of beasts, a few elves that work nicely with beasts and three Cryptic Gateways. Combining these boys with Avarax and Wirewood Savage is beautiful as you can drop a new beast in for every 2 you start with, and then another one for every two you added in meaning basically with Avarax's ability to find other copies of itself and WS letting you draw a card for every beast that comes into play it's possible to almost double your creature base every turn - and you can do it in your opponents discard phase meaning you don't even need to worry about blockers (hell you can declare sacrificial blockers and then tap them before they die to bring in their replacements!!)
Army of Light (W) - Cheap soldiers, Shared Triumph, and lots of nasty cheap Storm spells (Wing Shards is a particular favourite) means I can hold off almost any deck until I get Catapult Master out, and then you lose.
red/Black wither (extended) - this deck stops life gain, cripples enemies creatures and then steals them for my own pleasure <3 my 80%+ win rate
WUBRG insta win (extended) - This deck works via shards of alara block, using 3+ colour cretures up to 5 colour (progentius, fusion elemental, Maelstrom Archangel) combined with Mayael's aria, Knight of new alara and obelisk of alara to fall under aria's insta win conditions, also has mass mana ramp, Fun deck but takes at least 3-4 turns to really get things rolling.
Red/White Eldrazi fast play (standard) - this was just a laugh, got hand of Emrakul, spawning breaths, and brood birthing for some turn 2 eldrazi fun! the rest of the deck is just full of red eldrazi monsters, mana ramp and other eldrazi
N/A tainted whip (standard) - not going into this one much as i have played now countless amount of games and not lost a single one, so this needs to be kept hush until my tournament soon, then i will re-post! but lets just say, turn 4 insta win conditions rock :p
My main deck (as it has been for a while) is a fungus/thalid deck that's green/white/black.
I'm not one to spend a lot of money on cards (I don't buy cards over about $5 and even then rarely that high) so the deck could be much better. But it does very well against the people I play against locally.
My friends and I also do a fun competition every once and a while where we give ourselves a $5 total budget to spend on cards and well have to make a 40 card deck. Can't use any pre-owned cards except for basic lands. It's really really fun and interesting to see what people come up with on a strict budget!
