Combat Patrol

Having a game tomorrow (found out today, great preperation time eh?).

Its a Combat Patrol game following all the rules. I might be up against another DH army, Chaos army or Ork army.

I made a rough list:

8X ISTS, 2 Meltaguns, Chimera, Multi-laser, Heavy Bolter.

Total 400pts.

I wasn't sure wheter to use GK's or not, but what do you think? BTW, do ISTS get to use the lasgun implacements in the chimera?

You've actually got 520 points there. Your squads need reduced numbers...DH eat up Combat Patrol points really quickly. It looks all right to me...you'll just have to drop 4 GK's and 2 ISTs.

Can you have tanks in Combat patrol? I'm pretty sure you can't, but I might be wrong.

Yes.

Yes you can, but there is a limit on their AV. The Chimera does fit in under that limit.

Well I played two games with that list. It worked extremely well in my opinion. The INQ was effective against a rhino one of the players had, and the chimera was just an all round good choice.

I didn't realise about the lasguns but I still won. Fantastic.
