Homemade Apocalypse Datasheets for Inquisition (DH)

Put your Inquisition Apocalypse Datasheets here! I'll start us off...

    Inquisitorial Conclave........................75pts + Models

1-3* Ordo Hereticus or Ordo Malleus Inquisitor Lords
2+ Ordo Hereticus or Ordo Malleus Inquisitors
    *see below

Inquisitors are chosen from their respective codicies and are limited to their respective armouries. Henchmen and Transports are chosen as normal.

    Special Rules

Exterminatus: Often times when Inquisitors take to the battlefield, they are often in control of massive armies and is responsible for all elements of the force. Should situations become bleak, the Inquisitor has the authority to order that the planet be destroyed from orbit.

The Inquisitorial Conclave grants the player the Orbital Bombardment and Supreme Headquarters Strategic Assets.

Grave Situation: It is dire circumstances indeed when an Inquisitor takes command of a battle group. A group of Inquisitors therefore spells certain doom for the beleagured planet.

If 5 or more Inquisitors are taken, an additional Inquisitor Lord may be chosen. If the Lord is taken, then the player gains the Strategic Assets Surgical Raids and Precision Strike, in addition to the normal assets.

If 7 or more Inquisitors are chosen, then a further Inquisitor Lord may be taken. If BOTH additional Lords are taken, then the player gains the assets Hold at All Costs and Scheduled Bombardment, in addition to all of the aforementioned assets.

    EDIT:
Note, Inquisitor Lord Fyodor Karamazov and Inquisitor Lord Torquemada Coteaz may be taken as Inquisitor Lord choices. All normal rules for them apply.

"Do you expect us to survive this battle, sir?"
"Depends. How many Inquisitors have arrived?"

[94th Cadian Lieutenant to Colonel Kallick of the
94th Cadian Regiment, during a Chaos invasion.]

I will be working on some Ordo specific Datasheets as the week progresses. Stay tuned!

Hmm, i like what you are trying to do here.

Only problem is that i doubt the inquisitors are a good idea, I know in apoc, i dont plan on having more then 1 Inquisitor, and that is only because i built a firebase off of the one i currently own, and dont want to loose it.

But anyways, i am neither intelligent in the ways of apoc, nor daring enough to try and create my own datasheet.

I would like to see some kind of datasheet concerning multiple dreadnoughts come out at some point though.

Or some kind of specialized IST formation maybe.

    Among others.

I understand that some people may be a bit opposed to having to use so many inquisitors. It isn't a fantastic unit, but it certainly does have its merits. I would imagine that many of the Inquisitors that are chosen would be used for a support role, and that is perfectly okay.

Although, I'd totally go with Karamazov from the WH codex. He is one badass motherhubber.

In the WH Forum I put my VDR version of the Hellhammer, but I am having a harder time coming up with a DH - unique version.
The only weapons that are unique are Psycannons and Incinerators, but putting them on a suitable platform that would fit a BB has me a bit stymied.
I don't just want to add DH Icons to the Tank, as that is sub-par imo.
    Any brilliant ideas Guys?

How about this special rule for the inquisitors:

Exterminatus: once per game, an inquisitor can have the orbiting space ships fire thier main guns at MAXIMUM firepower! Remove the inquisiton group from play immedaitly as they have teleported back to the battleship in order to avoid the impending doom. Pick any point on the battlefield and place a marker there. the marker deviates 3d6 inches, even if a hit is rolled. everything w/ in 5d6 inches of the marker suffers a Str;D ap1 hit.

sorry, i just love stuff that goes BOOOM!
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.

Whoo! That would be a lot of fun. With 3d6 inch deviations it could turn ugly really fast, but them's the breaks.

Would the inquisitor and his/her retinue count as killed for VP purposes?

This is only for Apocalypse, and not Pure GK specific, and I don't find it that far to the right of 'Fluff Central' that an Inquisitor can't be gifted a Baneblade from some very relieved and appreciative IG General, who puts in a request to the Mars Forge World asking for authority to do so.
The Inquisitor, extremely happy but humbled to receive such a fine Warmachine, wants it
done in "Inquisition" Colours, and flying his personal Heraldry.

And did I mention it's only for Apocalypse - you know - FUN.
