I am going with the witch hunter flamer build because the witch hunter has the psychic power that lets
you target independent characters and do the leadership roll off. Everyone where i play takes big HQ's.
Weather its shrike, gazkull, or a pimped out IG company command. I need to double check the witch hunter codex first.

All it does is drop their Ld value a few points (not reliably either), annoying for a psyker but i'm not sure that Ghaz or shrike would care much.

I though it was like Eldar mindwar were they take wounds for each point they lose by?

If i am wrong i can just take a vindicare or a callidus assassin to take out Big scary HQ with body guards.

Nope, just drops Ld, which will hurt a ton of Eldar armies, not so much others. Virtually every WH psychic power, except for Hammerhand and the Scourging, has to do with making an enemy fall back or is aimed to hurt psykers.

Again, I suggest Vindicare. Hard to kill, can single out independent characters, and a Callidus still has to fight through retinue and others, like an Eversor. Plus, your army is shooty, so go with him. Keep the WH Lord for anti-psyker duty, that's where he's useful. Don't go hunting characters with him. Same goes for DH, except they are anti-daemon duty, but more armies have psykers than daemons.
