Hi everybody, this list is based on my 1000point one, found here (1000 points Khorne and Slaanesh)
Herald of khorne
BSB, banner of sundering, juggernaut, firestorm blade, armour of khorne
herald of slaanesh
lv1, siren song
FC, siren banner
5 flesh hounds
5 flesh hounds
The total is 1499
Depending on my opponent, I can swap the banner of sundering for the +D3 CR.
Thanks in advance.

I'd say dump Karanak and get Skulltaker a juggernaut. I wouldn't say Karanak adds enough to justify his points value, while making Skulltaker as fast and as hard as possible is worth doing.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
As for Kanarak, he is rather expensive. The thing I hate most about him, is you pick what character he 'hunts' before deployment. How on earth is that gonna work in a closed list format? To other thing I hate is his points, way too expensive.
As for the rest, I'd drop one unit of Furies to boost the size of the Bloodletters. Get them upto 16, then when you add Skulltaker and the Herald, you can run them 7*3, or 5*4. This will give you one nice block of troops to fight with.
Id then swap one unit of Flesh Hounds into Seekers with the Siren Standard instead of, or as well as, the Daemonettes. This unit can break through enemy lines by targeting weak units, and setup great flank or rear charges, essential if the Daemontettes are to charge at all (having such a small unit strength...)

Ok, so I should rdop karanak, and give skulltaker a juggernaut (any idea how to modle one), then get some more bloodletters, that sound good?
Just a thought, where are you're Heralds of Khorne, including Skulltaker, going to go? Putting them both in the Bloodletter is going to eat up a lot of frontage for that unit. You'de have to run the unit 7 wide, to prevent command models being pushed to the back.
If you were going to join both Khorne heralds into the Bloodleters, I would suggest droping 2 more furies, the Skull Totem, and picking up 4 more Bloodletters. This will give you 4 ranks of 7, and quite a killy unit with2 heralds and 2 juggers in the front rank! Skulltaker will issue challenges, and take appart enemy characters (or their dragon mount in one blow ) and the rest can smash into RnF troops. Nice.

What do you think about sticking skulltaker in the flesh hounds, sice he dosn't have a locus for the bloodletters?
as for how to model him...a tricky one, and one of the reasons I went for a normal Herald, as there's a model. Looking at the herald model, he's almost just standing on top of the jugger. Maybe Skulltaker can do the same? simply put the model on foot on top of a jugger...model some reins out of chain, modeled to his non-sword arm...pretty much pretso.
Either that, or you'd have to cut in half or something.....not something I could do.
