A couple thoughts on this one.
#1. Why 11 Bloodletters? No one is joining the unit to give you 2 ranks of 6, and one extra wound in 2 ranks of 5 won't do you any real good. Drop to 10 or bump to 12.
#2. Why Power Vortex on your Herald of Tzeentch? You have no real magic to speak of so the extra PD is going to be a waste. In fact with only 1 herald you're not going to be casting any spells at 2K unless you go up against a guy with only his basic 2 DD and nothing more. You might as well drop this guy entirely and upgrade your Nurgle Herald to a lvl 1 wizard. You will still get them same amount of magic defense for 1/3 the price with no points wasted on an ineffective magic offense.
#3. Why a basic BSB on your Herald of Tzeentch? He can't join any of the units in your list so other than a small reroll bennefit all the points are going to waste. Move the BSB to your Nurgle Herald, he will have more use for the rerolls and static CR.
#4. Why run your BT naked? Invest the points to give him Armour of Khorne. It will protect him from large volumes of weak or poisoned shooting which is one of his weaknesses.
Your list is tiny and a little disjointed. Flanking BL's with a block of PB's is good, but the rest of your list is ultra fast. Your Hounds and BT are going to want to rush to get into CC as fast as possible and that is going to leave your PB unit in the dust. Your army is set to run at two different speeds which is going to leave you weak. 2 units of Hounds and a BT can not defeat and entire army on their own and that is what they are going to be facing since your PB's are too slow to keep up. I'm also not sure what role you see your Herald of Tzeentch playing since you have so little magic.
The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
you are right, i made up those 2 lists without thinking a particular strategy and it makes the lists almost a waste.
i think the new daemons is better running with a battle design behind. i always made different lists against different armies almost never i was sure to beat different armies with the same list.
i'll still trying out following your clues
