    1999 points restriction

    Hi everyone, there is a local "club" which organizes tournaments with the less than 2000points limit. Also there are some other restrictions like no special characters allowed, maximum of 10 power dice allowed, only maximum of 2 fast cavalry and maximum of 2 fliers allowed ect. So I came up with the following list and really wish to get some feedback about it.

    Heroes;

    Herald of Nurgle 275pts
    Noxious Vapors
    Slime Trial
    Palanquin
    Battle Standard Bearer
    Great Standard of Sundering

    Herald of Tzeentch 160pts
    Master of Sorcery
    Winged Horror

    Herlad of Tzeentch 160pts
    Master of Sorcery
    Winged Horror

    Core;

    20 Plaguebearers 295pts
    Full Command
    Icon of Eternal Virulence

    10 Horrors 120pts

    10 Horrors 120pts

    6 Furies 72pts

    6 Furies 72pts

    Special;

    5 Flesh Hounds 175pts

    5 Flesh Hounds 175pts

    5 Seekers of Slaanesh 157
    Standard Bearer
    Siren Standard

    Rare;

    6 Flamers

    Total of 1991 points
    9 Power Dice and 7 Dispel Dice

    Now today I'm probably going scouting to see what type of armies will the others field. The list is a bit magic defensive because of the Great Standard of Sundering and the 7 dispel dice. However if the majority of the armies are close combat oriented I thought of using the Banner of Unholy Victory. Also I don't really know how does the unit strength issue of the Plaguebearers + Palanquin works out. I've seen threads mentioning numbers however I didn't quite understand the meaning of it, so if possible, I would really appreciate if someone explained it to me.

    I'm really looking forward for your point of views and comments.

    Best Regards,

    Niko Grimnar

    The army looks solid.

    It has got great versatility and mobility and it isn't focused on any of the units you chose.

    There is also variety in your selection seeing that you have got tough units like plaguebearers and support units like horrors who will make any approach to the bearers more difficult.

    I can't see any of your opponents doing a march move as you have a good variety of march blockers and also you seem to have a good response to war machines and missile infantry.

    Even you choice of flesh hounds as the hard hitters is good since many people underestimate them.

    And last but not least, you have a decent magic phase both in the offensive and the defensive aspects.

    Wow very helpful, 54 views and just 1 comment! I thank DraagDarkfire for his comment. Is this list so perfect that no one else has anything to say about it?

    Keep it up,

    Niko Grimnar
