Excellent all-around death-dealer and character killer.Skull Taker
Juggernaut of KhorneFine. I usually mount him on a Jugger for the extra save and attacks but he is O.K. on foot.Herald of Khorne
Armour of KhorneI would definitely try to find points for a palanquin. 6 extra poison attacks is a great value.Herald of Nurgle
Level 1 wizard
Slime TrailNot a normal set-up but O.K. if you feel you will need the scrolls.Herald of Tzeentch
Spell Breaker x2What is the reason for 15? With the Herald that gives you 5x3 plus 1. I would suggest getting the Jugger. Then you can either add one and make it 5x4 or remove one and make it 6x3.Bloodletters of Khorne x15
ChampionAgain I am not understanding the number you chose. If you drop 4 you can get the palanquin and still be 5x4.Plaguebearers of Nurgle x20
Icon of Eternal VirulenceI suggest dropping the standard. 10 Horrors will not last long against any kind of CC threat and the standard will be free VP's for your opponent.Pink Horrors of Tzeentch x10
StandardThis should work fine although I would recommend trying to bulk it out a bit.Demons of Slaanesh x10
Banner of EcstacyI don't like Karanak. You can get 2 more hounds for his cost. His points would probably be better spent elsewhere. 5 naked hounds is a very good unit on its own.Flesh Hounds of Khorne x5
KaranakI prefer 3 Fiends for about the same cost. It looks as though you are using this as a place to put Skulltaker. I would rather see him start out in the unit of Bloodletters as they will grant him the "Look Out Sir" where 2 Bloodcrushers will not.Bloodcrushers of Khorne x2
ChampionNothing to say here. Great unit.Flamers of Tzeentch x3
It looks as if you are making an effort to include all 4 factions in your army. While this is a fine goal you may want to look at trimming down the core to 3. Daemons are expensive and the four blocks of core will chew through alot of points. While I love me a big block of Plaguebearers they are out of place the most. The rest of your army is fast and mobile except for the Horrors and they are not supposed to be running forward anyway. The plaguebearers really don't fit in that well. I would use the points to bulk up the Daemonettes, get another Tzeentch Herald, and get some Furies. They are excellent at a multitude of tasks like march-blocking, war-machine/mage hunting, getting in the way of missle troops, etc.
It looks like you have a good start. Good luck with it.
The plaugebearers will act as the main Anvil of the army, they are T4 with 5 ward plus 5 regen.
Yes Skulltaker will run with the blood crushers, as a very hard flank runner.
The tzeentch herald and horror unit are more for their casting ability, and Karanak is more for challenging than anything.
Understood, that is what they do best. They will fall behind the rest of your army though. Either you will have to advance slower so the Plaguebearers can keep up or your faster units will be engaged before the anvil can move up and start clogging the board and setting up those flank charges. Either way it is not as efficient as it could be. If you want to keep the speed aspect I would recommend getting two units of Daemonettes with Banner of Ecstasy. They will be a faster anvil unit and they will hold just as well on the first turn so that your other units can flank. The plaugebearers will act as the main Anvil of the army, they are T4 with 5 ward plus 5 regen..Yes Skulltaker will run with the blood crushers, as a very hard flank runner
Sounds fine. You may want to consider Master of Sorcery instead of a Spellbreaker. It adds a whole lot of flexibility to your Herald. You are already using the ultimate challenger in Skulltaker so Karanak is not really needed. The tzeentch herald and horror unit are more for their casting ability, and Karanak is more for challenging than anything.
As previously stated the list is not bad the way it is. One of the things I really like about the Daemon book is that you can choose pretty much whatever you want and still have a competitive game.
