OK! I've only played 2 games so far but the flamers are doing a fine job so far. In tonights game I made a big mistake by pulling 2 units of 5 flamers away from the main part of my army. Then the fellow I was playing jump on them with 10 furies,1 chariot, 20 man unit in his beast herd, and 4 minotars. Well I knew then it was going down hill but not with out a fight. After the stand and shoot the 6 furies fell and 5 ungors. I won combat with the furies to free up the flamers a round of shooting with a stand to shoot to follow. After droping 2 minotars then stand a shoot at them only 1 was standing. Then I lost them all during combat but not after they killed 7 more gors and putting to wounds on the chariot. I know they didn't kill there point but if they are used better than I did they can and will.
Has any body else had a chance to use them yet? If so how and what did you do with them?

A fellow at the game keep . A very good player. He was running a combo hordes of chaos army. He out number me 2 to 1. I had 72 models he had 150 Around there i believe. The game went to me but I could have done better if I kept the flamers in check a little more.
Flamers are going to good - multiple S4 BS4 shots? Get me some of those!
These guys are versatile, and will really hurt armies like wood elves who will try to get around the sides using their fast cavalry and skirmishers. Flamers are shaping up to be one of the nastiest units in the army...and multiple units...ouch...
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
I've seen these guys outgun a unit of outriders and kill a unit of inner circle knights with luthor huss in two turns.....they are a good unit to have in your army, and fall under that lovely group of "distractions you can't afford to ignore"
